| Hmm ... pretty dramatic episode, but why wouldn't she use magic? Her explanation seems illogical, she doesn't want to hurt he mom but her containing her magic is hurting her anyway and the people around her. But also yeah no alarms when she just walked off and all =/? Well I guess it's all for the drama. |
| Asa no baka. She should just realize that it's not the demon/magic skills inside her that they are worried about but her health. Rin should have just told her that everyone is suffering with her and that neither he nor Ama want to even risk losing her. |

| The reason why Asa wont use magic is because if she used magic, she will accept that she is demon herself. She has a pride as a self proclaimed human. Is she going to die next episode or not? Either way this will turn into Asa ending. 2.5/5 |

Like, I don't think genetics work like that? @_@ Also, to Asa, humans can use magic. There are a lot of accomplished human wizards and witches. Using magic doesn't make you any less human, if anything it makes you way cooler. Use your magic, be reasonable. |

| This has got to be the most contrived and superfluous drama arc yet. Asa can cure herself using magic, but doesn't use it because of an arbitrary fixation on being "human", a state which wouldn't be changed regardless of her use of magic. Some inherent value being ascribed to "humanity" never made much sense to me, despite its prevalence in media. What species you are is of no consequence to the value of your person. These fictional races all share the same intelligence and cognitive capabilities anyway. |
