Crunchyroll announce Maoyuu_Maou_Yuusha:

http://www.crunchyroll.co.uk/anime-news/2013/01/02-1/crunchyroll-to-stream-maoyu-anime

Maoyu will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the following territories: North America, South America, Ireland, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, and the Netherlands.
Maoyu is set to broadcast every Friday starting on January 4th at 10:00 am Pacific Time for its premium members. Free members will be able to view one week after initial broadcast on Crunchyroll.

Wonder why it's available in Ireland but not the UK? I can't think of any instances in the past where the two have not gone together.

Just a wild guess, but I'm predicting it'll be Cuticle Tantei Inaba. Seems like the type of show they'd get and it airs in a couple days.

That is odd, but Kadokawa's the publisher on Maoyu so maybe it has something to do with Kadokawa avoiding the UK? But anyway, so very glad that Crunchyroll go Maoyu instead of Funimation

Well at least that gets the known one out of the way.

The only titles left to premier through this weekend that CR doesn't have are:
Da Capo III (possibly)
AKB0048 Next Stage (doubtful)
Hakkenden (possibly)
Minami-ke Tadaima (would be nice!)
Senran Kagura (pretty likely actually, now that I think about it)

I guess I'll bet on Hakkenden and Senran Kagura though I'm hoping for DC and Minami-ke. Unless they're moving into titles premiering Monday onward already. Monday has Amnesia, Tuesday has Bakumatsu Gijinden Roman and ZKC: Hyoubu Kyousuke, and Wednesday has GJ-bu and Senyuu.

I've got my fingers crossed hardest for GJ-bu out of those.

Seitokai no Ichizon lv 2 comes on the 9th as well.

Like Ebiten, it was a Niconico exclusive that was scheduled foe broader distro the following season. So it wouldn't have been available to CR (or Japanese TV stations for that matter) before now, so technically it's still a simulcast.

That makes sense, I wonder what the third title will be.

When stuff happens like this, it makes sense that some people think of this as The Crunchyroll Thread.

I didn't miss the indirect confirmation of an AoD simulcast, but I don't want to add anything that isn't directly confirmed, and so far...that's just CR.

I just get this strange feeling that there will be one season where I make this topic like usual but only CR announces anything.

I wish. Unfortunately a lot of my most wanted going to services I won't use (TAN, Funi) is quite likely. Most of the ones they're a lock for don't air until next week.

Yeah, I expect most of the heavy hitter series (Vividred, Tamako Market, Sasami-San and the like) will go to others instead of Crunchy. At least Oreshura going to Crunchy gave me hope that Vividred might.

And, as an added bonus, they got Seitokai no Ichizon Lv.2? Damn skippy I'll be rewatching it while it airs.

Kind of funny someone saying that when more than half their episodes come out a day or more later than intended.

I get what you mean, though. But to be honest, at least so far, it's largely because AoD simply don't do shorts (or they never have to date, anyway).

Nope. More than likely AoD picks up the titles that already have a NA licensor because said licensor took NA rights only. Crunchy tends to get UK rights in addition to NA rights (and others) for their shows, so if NA rights are already taken (like we speculate Tamako Market and Sasami-san are), AoD can get them because Crunchy won't bid for UK rights alone like AoD will.

One more title to come today, then, and I assume it will be one of the unlicensed series that air over sat/sun/mon which are:
akb0048 next stage
minami-ke tadaima
d.c. iii
senran kagura
line offline salaryman
amnesia

It probably won't be one of the first 3 (being sequels to things that CR hasn't had before), and I hope it isn't the fifth one. Which leaves one of the other two, and probably not the other, unless they start it late which is always a possibility.

After that, there are 3 boxes left. Of course, they could always add more but I feel like looking at what there is available.
There are 12 series left after that. We can probably assume funimation has haganai, and if anyone gets hetalia it will probably be them as well. Precure isn't about to suddenly start being simulcasted either. Probably.

On the other hand, chihayafuru season 2 is very likely.

Which leaves 2 (and any added boxes) to be taken from the following series:

Senyuu
GJ-bu
Sasami-san
Kotoura-san
Vividred Operation
Mondaijitachi
Beast Saga
Ganbare! Lulu Lolo
