| There will be no season 2 for these reasons. 1. This show didnt sell at all. Lots of shows (like Freezing) are trash but still sell, even if its as little as 4-5k copies. Btooom sold 350. 2. This show features people playing a game that makes no sense, with no guns (people like guns), and an MC who after 12 episodes still refused to even play. People in Japan don't like moralfag anime about people playing weak games using bombs that don't kill people. People in Japan like anime like SAO, about an Overpowered tween who gets all the ladies and isn't afraid to win. |

I don't agree with some of the things you have said here but I will agree that I enjoyed the anime and there should be a 2nd season but alas there will likely not be one. |

| Not a chance, this is one of the few adaptations that MH did that they probably won't even look back at like Claymore for example. Now I'm not saying that MH don't do sequels just incase someone accuses me of saying so. |

It sucks but the developers have to make money and a living as well and they can't do that if there isn't money to be made. Also even if a season 2 is possible, we are going to have to wait quite awhile before it comes even possible as there isn't nearly enough material available from the manga yet to make one. Still DVD sales will have to improve if another season is even possible but I don't think thats likely given the results to date which is a shame. |

Has it caused a (very entertaining) shitstorm on MAL? 5. Is it actually good? Scratch the fifth point, it's not very relevant... |

| This is by far one of my favorite anime, it needs a sequel! I'll have to buy the anime to support it. Shame funimation didn't get a hold of it, they'd probably promote it more. |

| I don't normally buy anime since I have a 4TB HDD dedicated to anime and a lifetime subscription to a download site but I want to see a second season so badly that this will be my first time buying a blu ray of an anime to support the series. |

| They need to market smarter. Expecting people to buy DVDs of partially finished anime is like asking us to buy half a book that we really enjoy, but we will only be able to get the other half if they sell enough of the first half. It's beyond stupid. Shows should continue if they are popular...so say the tv gods. Stop being so terrible at marketing to western audiences and marketing in general. Some of the most retarded tv shows contuse for years on american television, not because they are good but because they are simply available to the masses. It's not hard. Stop making watching anime on tv so difficult for anyone outside japan... |
| Actually I would like to correct any mistakes made here, So far, as I can find of scanned versions on the web, but there are currently 69 chapters published online and the farthest I have found that is translated is on Mangabird is 64. |

| There's not enough material for another season yet. I'm not sure why anyone would read at mangabird... looks like they took chapters from mangapanda who then took it from the original scanlators - s2s. s2s has a manga viewer that doesn't lessen the quality of the pages. Ch 65 is being worked on and should be out soon. |

| Apparently in Japan the anime was not very popular, so the chances of a sequel are low. The manga is still ongoing, though. |
