Aria the OVA ~Arietta~ been available on http://www.tokyotosho.com/?cat=1 for a few hours now subbed by a group i've not previously heard of 'Hochuuami' seems relatively good. Font is a bit too large for my liking but it's clear to read. Great episode as people can expect from Aria series. Can't seem to update it to my 'completed' list though I should have perhaps watched the OVA once i finished Aria the Natural but i couldn't restrain myself. This was really a lovely OVA. It gave a greater insight and background to Alicia, who often appears as the wise and pretty undine supervising Akari. In this episode, it showed that even someone has confident as her has uncertainties. The last part of the episode with Akari and Alicia was especially sweet. |

The OVA was great~ I particularly enjoyed the progress in Alicia and Akari's relationship. Moreover, it was nice to see that Alicia does have some weaknesses. Once again, Akira and Athena were awesome and same with President Aria (did he get fatter?)~ The ending was beautiful - loved this~ ^_^ |

First it was like 8/10... then some more Alicia so 9/10... and after the Campanile scenes... MAL score scale is too small! It's more like 11/10... Gwaa.... tomorrow I'll start translating it into Polish - it's decided! :P Modified by dagomir, 02-17-09, 12:13 PM |

That was a fantastic episode! This show always leave a smile on your face every time you finish an episode. The score rating for this episode will be the same for season two. |

Hm, I didn't like that they changed how Akari's eyes were drawn. It was, at times, rather jarring. I also didn't like the OP and needed more Choro Club. But this was fantastic despite those shortcomings, and somehow ARIA always knows just what I need to hear. Not really sure how it does, but it does. It's weird. Excellent story, helps put Alicia on a level where she's easier to understand; everyone practically elevates her to undine godhood, so it's an interesting new side to her character.
