Can someone give me a list of the Rurouni Kenshin Arcs?

im really hoping the kyoto arc is really good, beause it hasnt been bad or anything so far, but if it doesnt get better than this, this anime is very overrated, ive heard it was amazing

Which is the bet damn arc in the whole story, its whole purpose and reason behind kenshin bloody past. Pitty they never animated it. Maybe some day if fan demand is strong enough, im sick of seeing all these stupid remakes and crap. I want the rest of the manga animated.

IN terms of the manga storyline it is, but the series is kind of butchered, censored, unnecessary filler and the story isn't even finished. Its bout only half way done in the anime.

Even though 77-95 are the worst of the bunch, it would still be useful information to list where the arcs within it start and stop.

77-78 - two filler episodes

79-82 - Daigoro filler arc

83-88 - Divine Elixir filler arc

89 - filler episode

90-94 - Feng Shui filler arc

95 - stand-alone special

No. You can drop the anime after episode 62 and go read the manga starting on chapter 151

Jeez every single person here is clueless. There's a 2 episode OVA that animates the important parts of the Jinchuu arc. It might only have Kenshins past but it's still well animated and awesome. Just watch out for a depressing ending.

Except those OVAs (especially that last one that even Watsuki hates), though beautifully animated, aren't really seen as falling in line with the rest of the anime. They were animated and repackaged for an American audience as "Samurai X." Audiences want a full animated of the Jinchuu arc, not some overly-dramaticized summary. Kenshin deserves better than that and, in the words of Watsuki himself, Kenshin deserves better than that OVA ending they gave him. Because of that stupid ending, he wound up having a short animated made for Kenshin's true end (which was only sold in Japan's Millennium collection) of the anime series.
