| I'm tied between Kotomi & Tomoyo. Kotomi, to me, had the best arc of the first series. Tomoyo is just hilarious to watch, and I think she should've gotten much more screen time than she had. In all honesty, I would've been fine with anybody but Nagisa. I think I would've actually liked Afterstory more if the main love interest wasn't Nagisa. I just could never stand her very weak attitude. |

| If you ask me in terms of arc, It has to be Nagisa or Kotomi. Those arcs are where he shows his good side and how loving and caring he actually is. In terms of girls that really suit him, that has to be Kyou hands down. Sadly her arc just sucks, god damn was that two timing scenario just cringe-worthy. Tomoya and Fuuko actually had good chemistry but only as friends. She was like his little sister and he really showed a lot of his good side there. While yeah, they technically can be together (regardless of looks Fuuko is the same age as Tomoya) it'd feel like a pair of siblings playing house. Besides, the Fuuko arc in the novel intertwines with a big chunk of Nagisa's arc so he actually has Nagisa as a love interest too (and one of the endings for Fuuko actually has him and Nagisa together). Also, if we go by the Visual Novel's choices, Fuuko has to be in that poll. |

| I'm still sticking with Nagisa. She really helped Tomoya grow throughout the series. People might say the other girls would have helped Tomoya had he fallen in love with them. Tomoyo and Kyou didn't exactly lend their strength to Okazaki in their OVAs though. |

The drama to After Story was great; I really enjoyed it. And I don't necessarily hate TomoyaxNagisa, I just think any of the other girls would have been a better match for him. I voted for Kotomi, but I'm actually conflicted between Kotomi and Tomoyo. I mean, Kotomi was his childhood friend and the depth to this would've contributed significantly to their relationship. Additionally, I find her personality the most appealing... I really, really wish she would have gotten an OVA too. On the other hand, Tomoyo is strong and confident, and I think Tomoya would have done better with a girlfriend who would push him. I dunno, I like how their relationship turned out in their OVA more than how Tomoya's relationship turned out with Nagisa, really. |

Yes, because without Nagisa x Tomoya, there won't be After Story, and Tomoya won't be as great as he is now. It was what he went through with Nagisa and his child that he is what he is now. Edit: And of course, after the first half of After Story, you still don't feel that Nagisa is better for him? If you don't, then this show fails hard, because it still can't make you think that even after all dem developments. Edit: I forgot to say this, but the thread starter is asking for who you think is better suited for Tomoya, not who do you want Tomoya to end up with/which girl is your favourite. |

| Tomoyo or Kyou. Both arcs were amazing. I actually wanted Tomoya to start mingling with Kyou after the death of Nagisa after meeting up at the day care. |

| Nagisa was made for Tomoya. Nagisa had a picture perfect family with 2 parents that cared for her and are always there for her. Tomoya on the other hand is the opposite. His mother is dead and his father is a drunk dead beat. Nagisa is optimistic while Tomoya is a pessimist. Nagisa is a goody girl and Tomoya is a delinquent. And it works the other way around. Tomoya likes to help people while Nagisa doesnt have much self confidence. So I should say, THEY ARE MADE FOR EACH OTHER. |

| Honestly can't seen anyone else for him except for Nagisa, especially after After Story. Hehe, after after story. xD But, taking my feelings out, I like Kotomi the best. I think she's really adorable, and I always love the childhood friends plot. If I ever get around to playing the Clannad VN, I'd definitely play her route. |

| Nagisa, no doubt. She and Tomoya fit well together. Tomoyo would be a good second choice as the Ova showed. The rest are shit, Kyou especially. |
| Even though my favorite is Kyou (Tomoyo being a close second), I think Nagisa is the best for him. She is sweet and she's a good wife, as we can see in the After Story. |

| Kotomi or Ryou. Tomoyo - too bossy and violent, probably cheat on you because she’s the dominant one. Kyou - too emotional, probably cheat on your in spite after a fight. Nagisa - too sickly, who wants to constantly take care of two people. Ryou - sexy nurse, can take care of you when sick, shy and will depend on you to be the man and make the decisions. Kotomi - intelligent, most likely will grow out of her awkwardness, most likely have a good research career, wont let other men approach her, stable life in america. |
