to me, it was filler galore all the way through. a great disappointment. 7/10 compared to the amazing 10/10 first season.

it wasn't such a disappointment since I never expected a hardcore plot, drama or anything like that. I loved it but it could have ended better (a little) I guess.

Great season! I laughed all the way!
I am very happy that we even got third season...
I am surely hope we gonna have a fourth season!!!
(and see Saito retrieve the purple ring to the water spirit... and catch the bad guys from the previous seasons... and most important, to see louise confess to saito!!!)

I think the 3rd season was quite good, but probably wasn't as good as the other two seasons. I have to agree though, I probably think it's setting the scene up for the 4th season as well as revealing about the deep conspiracy plot by the antagonist.

I reckon all the seasons of ZnT were great, especially 1st and 3rd seasons.

Very disappointed.

While I don't mind "Ecchi for DVD sales" marketing strategy, they turned a great series to a low-caliber boob-fest anime in that level of To-LOVE-Ru and Kanokon. I like ecchi but the title "Zero no Tsukaima" defines romantic comedy with lots of drama, and not repetitive misunderstandings with BUST REVOLUTION as the main attraction.

Gonzo managed to apply both quality drama, focused storyline, and fanservice altogether in Strike Witches (it's a whole NEW franchise), so why can't J.C. staff did the same with Princess no Rondo at least? Zero no Tsukaima had such great reputation from the first season, so-so in the second season, and now they chose to destroy it completely. I say they picked the wrong guy to direct the third sequel of this awesome series.

I love all 3 seasons of this movie.
I can describe them in such way:
1 season - action
2 season - drama
3 season - fanservice

I agree with thought off Chibs, and I hope this ideas will be realized in 4 season.

Season 1: Boring. Very little development between saito and louise. barely snaked a 7 because of the last kiss

season 2: The only thing wrong with this, is that there were to many "misunderstandings" between saito and louise, when resulted in him getting whipped to much. It got old after a while. Other than that, perfection. 10/10, first or second favorite anime of all time

Season 3: When will Saito get any further with Louise? Every time there was a chance for development between them, something got in the way and ruined it. It gets a 10/10 but it still left me in dissapointment.

Also, Siesta needs to go somewhere and die. She keeps getting between Louise and Saito and it pisses me off every time. Atleast its unintentional when the elf does it, but Siesta does it on purpose and won't back the f*** off >_<

Kinda same thoughts, except I liked the first season very much too. And the second was best so far, especially the ending. Third season began very promisingly, but not much development. Waiting for a fourth season...

I wished they would have left a "Saito is dead" cliffhanger ending in season 2. I really didn't like how they shuffled and skipped around with volume 8 at the start of season 3. It didn't ruin the storyline, but it cut off a lot of solid character development that I especially liked. I have no clue why ZnT seasons have to contain only 12-13 episodes each.

I agree fully, i liked the 1st season very much and also for my the second season was the best, one thing i disliked was that Saito got horny all of a sudden and the maid was like a completely different character, in other words more "slutty" Oh yeh and 3rd season was a let down for me =\

I gave it 4 of 5. I think the first season was the best, but the 3rd season is still great and I look forward to a 4th season of ZnT!

WHAT!?! The second season was by far the best, because episode 12 of the second season was simply amazing (apart from the last minute)

are you guys crazy??

The 3rd season was obviously BEST, since it focused more on the FAN SERVICE and HAREM, rather than the totally uninteresting PLOT!!!

Season 3 was great they managed to continue the plot very well using the same characters and adding some surprises while making it hilarious. I love every episode I watched, I was always entertained and still got a story which is pretty hard to do at the same time. They balanced everything out really well not focusing too much on one subject while not dropping another one. While season two is almost unbeatable I'm glad they did what they did and am looking forward to season 4 and the continuation of the story. So far ZnT has a little of everything in it and it was done right, just watch it for what it is, awesome, don't fight it, just let it take you away.

S3 was more filler material and for fun and fanservice. It was certainly enjoyable but it resetted every progress saito and louise made so I pretend S3 didnt happen so it feels more like how it should be developing since after the promise louise should be more dere which she is in S4

But I certwinly love the dancer scene and kitty louise scene :) from S3
