Theme 1: Dedications
This is an idea originally created and suggested the previous month by one of our members, xen20. I know it was a candidate last month too, but I found it to be a really nice and unique idea, that I felt we had to give it another chance. Also I saw some of you were interested in it, so here it is now. What is it about though? For those of you who didn’t see remember, as the title says, it’s all about dedicating songs to each other. What will happen is this. Each one of you will be paired with another, either according to will, or if you can’t decide we will pair you with someone. Then you will have to select a song for this person. It must be a song that you think fits his/her personality, music or lyric wise. You can show your perception of that person through your song choice. At the same time we can all get closer to each other and learn more. The pairs can be anything, boy-boy, girl-girl, boy-girl. If this theme wins, the ones that want to participate in it will send me their names together with the name of the person that they want to dedicate a song to. There can’t be any double pairings, so that each one will get a dedication. More info will be provided if this theme wins.
Theme 2: You In a Song
This is a theme were each one of you will share a small part of yourself through your song choice. If this theme wins, you will have to select a song that describes you or speaks to you in a way. It can be through the lyrics, or it can just bring you many memories that are precious to you. Just think of yourself being reflected through it. It can be anything you like, like a song that describes your current feelings or the change you’re perhaps going through in your life. Make it as personal as you want and share a small part of you with the rest of us.
Theme 3: iPod shuffle
Again a theme we had last month, but it was so close to winning, that I decided we could have it again this time, since it’s a more personal and unique month. So, this theme is all about random, as the title suggests. What you have to do is take your iPod, iPhone, mp3 player, or if you don’t have one, open up Media Player, iTunes or any other music application on your PC, go to your main library where you have all your songs, and select the option to shuffle the songs. Then press next and let fate decide your song for you.
You will have to post the first song that plays after you shuffle the list! Please no cheating! This is meant to be like a game and the list created would be surely so diverse. So if you like this idea vote for it.

Theme 4: Covers
In this category you can choose one song of your liking that has been covered by a different singer/band than the original one. It can be a song from any genre you like, but it must not be the original performance.
It can also be by anyone, perhaps a famous band covering a song by another famous artist, or an amateur’s cover, or a cover even made by you..
Whatever it is you choose, remember that the quality of the sound must be good though.
Example:
Song: Smooth Criminal
Artist: Alien Ant Farm
Originally performed by Michael Jackson
Theme 5: Bilingual
In this category you’ll have to find a song that includes more than one language, preferably two as the title suggest. But If you can find a song that has more than two, that would be interesting to have as well. The amount of each language in the song doesn’t have to be equal, but there has to be a substantial part of it there, not just a single word.
You can choose from any two languages you wish.
Example:
Song: Trust Me
Artist: Yuya Matsushita
Theme 6: So long
The ban thing did something good too.. it inspired this theme. So don’t be sad people, it won’t be goodbye. ;D In this theme you could pick some good songs that can be sad but also give some hope, songs that fit the title. Ok, the song I picked is a tad emo.. haha But you can interpret it in many ways.
When we will meet again after these two weeks it will be a fresh start in a way for all of us, so it kind of fits! ;D
Example:
Song: So long Goodbye
Artist: 10 Years
