| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Yuu wants to sacrifice to save Kuroi, who considers her as her best friend. There's real BRS? (W. out OP) Facing the pain and flying to see various color (emotion). Kotonashi wanted to be friends with Kuroi but doesn't know how and felt pain. To connect with people is what Kuroi wants. Yuu being broken, and other characters of the alternative world is there. "White hair Kuroi" crying for Yuu, who is happy to be with Kuroi, who brought her colors/emotions. Able to be back, and Kuroi met Kotonashi, who runs to her. Sempai was able to be back with her boyfriend, and Yuu (or another personality altogether?) transferring. Everyone including KitaEri's character are friends. Both ED and OP aired at the end. There's no end to fighting in that world. |

| Typical happy ending while the ED plays and an after credits scene with STR and BRS. Looks like STR didn't die after all. I still prefer the OVA over this though. It felt a bit dragged out. |

| Just watched it. Very predictable ending, though that fight was very cool, CGI was very well done. Went better than expected. Liked it. 6/10 Many, many flaws, but entertaining. |
| IBRS's beat-down was brutal (＞。☆) Mato had to create a new BRS, LOL. So once she turns into IBRS, there is no going back, I take it? I'm glad all the girls became friends. Predictable, but nice...and Yomi's bracelet should have been green >.> Kinda sad to see it over. But it was a good ride (＾∇＾) |

| Final episode!!! BRS. BRS vs. Insane BRS Well, looks like GG insane BRS. Hearts can merge like the worlds Because we love you And a ending at that. Interesting series tbh. Although not as good as I expected, it was still enjoyable. 8/10.  |

| Good episode,pain to grow up. As always the fight were good specially that fight between BRS vs IBRS that "colorful cannon" was awesome. At the end everyone feel pain as it should be,suffering it was makes us grow and stronger no matter how hard it is. Strength sacrificing herself to save Mato was sad,specially that scene when she disappear even that it looks that in the end she didnt disappear so o well..... Yuu came back to face the world it can be very dark many times but indeed there are many beautiful things in thins world that worth the suffering. Typical happy ending that everyone became friends,also the sempai get her boyfriend at the end. Was a fun ride it had flaws but was entertaining never less 7/10 for me fine anime. |

| Poor pacing due to random cutting back and forth from both worlds. Drama blown way out of proportion. Changes in personality that occur without enough reason (especially Kagari...) School/real world sequences 3/10 Battle sequences 9/10 Average 6/10 - 1 for poor pacing Honestly, if they just got rid of the entire school and based the premise solely on the imaginary world, this would have been far better. The battle sequences were quite impressive. Add a real motivation other than the corny reasons in the school sequences, put in Shinbo and Urobuchi for directing and writing and you would have a winner. |

| I hate that everyone is bashing this show :/ I quite enjoyed it! Then again, I'm optimistic about a lot of shows people hate on. I really liked it, sure it was predictable, but I thought it was executed well. |

| Story - 4/10 Characters - 6/10 Animation - 8/10 Sound - 7/10 Battle Sequences - 10/10 Total - 8/10 I agree with OmniNight, they should have a Other World series done by SHAFT with Urobuchi and Shinbou. I enjoyed this show alot though. |

| I thought this show was going to be Okay (at best), but man i was surprised. I ended up loving the show; with it's great art style (in the other world), interesting concepts, and action that was Off The Rails! 8/10 |

| The ending was unexpected because to me (too happy) since the whole series was just full of plot twists. It could have been better. Good watch though and I'm surprised and delighted that the series being only 8 episodes didn't ruin it. Another win for noitaminA |

| I really liked this ending. It was so sweet and touching :D All of the girls together like that. 8/10 overall. There was some pacing issues, but this show was a fun ride. I'd love to rewatch this someday. |

| Great ending; really needed that kind of ending after finishing Guilty Crown, didn't expect it to be that "good" after the feeling it gave 2 episodes or so ago, but all and all good show, it had its ups and downs, but it was a fun watch. | i loved it!! all of it! i'm happy strength didn't die. :( phew i was sad there for a moment. Also the fact that they are all girlfriends is awesome, and yuu is cute. So how come mato is the only one who remembers growing up with yuu? That's the only part i never got :(. Also i was so sure white rock shooter would appear, but oh well, i'm happy with the whole story, characters and ending. :) enjoyed it alot! |

| THAT'S A BIG F*CKING GUN!! That last fight was pretty epic, wished it lasted longer though (wish the WHOLE series lasted longer). Really enjoyed the happy ending where everyone ended up becoming friends, just the heartwarmingness I needed! :))) Still felt they could've done more with the story, but either way, I'm REALLY satisfied. Hope they make more BRS animations in the future. |

| this show suffered from only being 8 episodes long, half the series was mainly about the basketball girl and kagari, neither of which i can say were that important. typical happy ending and the show was mediocre at best when it was showing the real world stuff going on. the other world and the fights however were done really well in the final few episodes, the action prior to the dead master fight was shit. this show couldve been better had they not wasted so much time in the real world and the unimportant characters. If the majority of the show featured anything like the first half of this episode i might have given a 9 or 10. that fight was awesome. as it stands i think the highest i could possibly give this is a 7. at the end she says she'll keep fighting, which is a fancy way of saying if dvd/bds sell well enough there may be another season...if so perhaps now that the real world bullshit has been explained one could only hope more time would be spent on the fights in the other world and with the titular character. |

| I don't fakin care about anything, I'm giving this a 10/10 I enjoyed every episode, the music was awesome, the relationships were confusing , the animation was not that bad but I lol'ed a lot with BRS fandom xD, I'm really glad I'd watched Black Rock shooter ^^ |

| I really don't get the whole "pain" thing. But that was pretty nice :) albeit cheesy. First couple eps were really derpy, but it definetly picked up with a few twists. Loved it. So yeah...despite the girls emotions being set free and Mato wanting to accept pain...they all come back (BRS, STR, DM etc) and do it all over again O_o? lol not that Im complaining, leaves room for more in the future :D. |

| People, justify yourself! Don't just say 3/10, etc., etc., without providing reasons to why. So let me try: Well, I thought the pacing was really good in this anime. It got its point across, that the world is full of many beautiful things, as well as dark things. You will constantly be in a struggle fighting to survive. I'm not sure of what was left out. Maybe an explanation to the connection between the two worlds? Well, I thought it was more of a metaphorical device than anything, which worked wonderfully. Each girl suffered, they all had their reasons, and they were given an option to forget this pain. Alas, pain cannot simply be masked, but need to be embraced and fought against. So with that, I give this anime a 9/10. |

| This last episode was just as rushed as the rest of the show. But it was still great. Solid show. Just needed to be 12 episodes. It disturbs me greatly that this show has a lower mean score than Guilty Crown. Seriously. What the fuck is wrong with the world. What's the matter? Not enough tits/ass shots for you? |
