Though at the same time I think it can be argued that Maximum Ride is partially a manhwa, since the artist is Korean. Personally I think that it's the art style that separates manga from graphic novels or comics, not the language, but clearly MAL doesn't agree with this. But regardless, I'm glad to see Maximum Ride on the NY Times list, it deserves to be up there. ^^ |
