| Is this fetching some sales for JC Staff? I would think they would be placing their efforts on animating some of their money spinners like Index or Railgun. So is this doing well for them? I mean, 3 seasons in 3 years. Even Shana took a long time to get a season 3, and ZnT for season 4. I have no problems though as Bakuman is good and there's plenty of material. Just wondering about it in terms of sales and looking at the time of release of the seasons. |

| @novurdim Probably the same reason why Pierrot made two seasons of Tegami Bachi and why most of shounen anime are made. It has high TV rating so main profit goes from non-direct sources such as rise of manga sales, commercials etc. |

Preorders for vol.1 are simply bad. Probably it won't even cross manabi line(3000). It's quite ironic, considering 1st season sold +10000copies so and clusterfuck 2nd season also sold +10000 copies while 3rd season is doing poorly... Verdict it isn't always a good idea to make fans wait for new season since it can lose its fandom like it happened with Shana. |

| I have mixed feelings about this. A 3rd season is good for both mangakas but the quality of the first two seasons is really bad especially when compared to the manga |
