...Okay, I can certainly see the reason for the dislike on Oonuma now. I'm not exactly faulting her for the conclusion about her life but the factors that brought her there? I dunno...it borders on petty.

That popular guy made such a cliched rescue scene, which was still wasted on Oonuma. Is this a setup to get these two characters together? Maybe itst he charm of drawing a character who only has 2 expressions, or a character that allows some grope fanservice to occur.

Doing things this way and wasting 2 chapters is a sure way to enrage the readers, as I am a bit now. My expectations of this were somewhat high, as the last ongoing vanilla romance manga in the world of moe and shoujo's triangle faced guys.

The fisrt 17 pages were a waste of time but hte last two really made it!! :D

But it's sad that he will end up with kurokawa, i like Shou.... :(

The most cliched rescue scene ever.
You could at least give us some entertainment by getting raped, Oonuma, but no, you had to be saved. You're even more useless than before.

What's wrong with you people? Izumi has been that way from the start. He's always been bro-tier and he's always been a player, and that's what I saw this chapter too. The fact that he didn't cockblock until she refused is enough to tell you that he's not some white paragon of justice as some people here are implying. If anything, this episode just made him more badass.

And while I dislike Oonuma as much as the next guy and I didn't like last chapter, this one was actually pretty good in my opinion. If only for Izumi and the cliffhanger. It's specially good considering how dull the series has been since... about when Utsumi decided on Yuki, some 60 chapters ago.

Oh, and to the people saying cliche: don't lie to yourselves. The cliche scene is:
1.- Save the girl before anything happens. (optional: Jump in like a retarded kid)
2.- Solve everything through violence. ("I have this paper" -attempt to grab the paper by force)
3.- Get beaten up. (Because MC is always useless in a fight)
4.- Everything ends well because of contrived coincidences/outside help.

If anything this intentionally played against the cliches. I'm not saying this is uncommon, but it's way less common that what I described.

Izumi changes a lot and that's awesome. Everyone getting a good character development except the main love interests like Shou and Yuki lol.
