| I'm not gonna lie this is very disappointing the character designs look very very different from the manga, especially the picture with Judeo they made him way too "moe". Oh well at least its better than nothing, the only design i thought was ok was Cascas but they ruined Guts, Grifith and Judeo from what i can see. Also the CGI looks pretty bad, i hope that these are just bad stills and that when you see it running on film it looks a lot better because from what i saw it looks pretty awful, especially Zodd. I will add that the backgrounds look amazing vivid and full of detail. I will be looking forward to this film on February regardless. |

| One thing about the character designs in the berserk manga, is that they were somewhat inconsistent, compare Judeo of volume 4 to him in volume 13. I dont think he looks that much different from how he looks in 13. They do look a bit different from the manga but I think thats fine, I mean it works for one piece. I agree the CGI looks out of place but whatever, everything else looks pretty awesome. |
