The original trilogy has a total runtime of 278 minutes which equals 12 anime episodes. If we have the God Hands power and our wishes come true and they announce 24 episodes, this will be the best Berserk adaption yet. It will be around 14 episodes to 16 episodes if were too hopeful since you have to add in: Alot of the additions are parts cut from the orignal film and they mainly talked up the Bonefire of Dreams instead of anything else which tells me this is mainly just that part they're adding. They are gonna add some extra stuff but it will prob be minor since they only mentioned Bonefire which tells me they don't have alot also from what I've heard all the new footage was cut from teh trilogy and making a trilogy on its own some stuff they cut from thsoe films they never attempted to animate like Wyladd so new additions would be stuff like more on the Band of the Hawk moemnts that were missing in the first film especially or more on the Queens motive. Though don't expect Guts childhood or Wyladd or more extreme aspects to be added. The censorship also I think won't be too much. Berserk 97 was able to get away with alot for the 90s which gives me hope and with Chainsaw Man coming out and since Miura passed away I assume they won't censor too much but censoring will happen. I think the new additions will be mostly on the animation. Like making alot of the scenes in daylight (with sun shining) to redo and take out the CGI and overall try to hide the CGI and cover it and blend it with 2D like how they did with the 3rd film. Hope we get a dub release soon or someone licensee this if it isnt licensed already. I hope if this is a hit with reception and ratings we could get a Season 2 but with 2D. |

| Awesome. This will be a great excuse for me to rewatch these movies but in a different format. If they really are gonna add new scenes and even new music by Susumu Hirasawa, then this should definitely be getting its own database entry on MAL soon enough. |

| So I took it upon myself to make a data entry, apparently there were some secrets links to use. As of now it seems like they took my rough draft and properly revised it. I'm still surprised that nobody else took notice of this until I stepped in. |

Several people could have done it and they all could be waiting with temporary links of their own, happens quite often, because database mods have way too much in their hands (a lot edits of my own to many entries from 6 years ago are yet to be updated). |
