Very good ending with the picture books almost coming full circle.

Since the series is from Lulu's perspective its great to get inside Suzaku's head and see things from his point of view. Especially because he is one of the more complex characters.

Complex? In R2, he's just turned into an arsehole! But I suppose I get what you mean, what with the patricide, his idea of justice, feelings of friendship being tested, etc.
Your search on "Oran Solus" returned the following quotes:
"Oran Solus? I know him. What a wanker. He still owes me a tenner." Oscar Wilde
"Oran, you're so intelligent and awesome <3" Bakayaro
"Oran's sexy." LolitaDecay
"Oran is a sophisticated penguin." Drybananna
"Oran is a Hand-Eye you faggots." EddieSpaghetti
"Oran for Prime Minister." the_prime_one
"Oran is all that is stated in his sig and more." orbitzz

Great compliment to the first season... It was great to see the world through other characters eyes.

I LOVE the universe of this series. Interesting, cruel, and beautiful

A nice ending to the OVA series. It was nice to be able to see more of what was going through his head before the confrontation with Lelouch/Zero.

Kind of feel like a recap knowing what's going to happened and the foreshadowing between lelouch and Suzaku. But, it's still good ending to the picture drama.

These Special episodes were full or surprises. Some pleasant, some heartwarming, some sad, and some unpleasant. Last episode was an interesting finish. 7/10

So that's what happened that day and what Suzaku was thinking before the final battle.
If you see that my post is exactly 1 month old (or more) from when it was posted... Don't waste your time, especially when you want to reply with something petty & insignificant. Assume that I've moved on (because I have).

I think they wanted to show this on episode 23 but didn't since this bought up 5 min flashback.

What a good episode. Suzaku finally realizes who Zero is. His childhood memories play an important role in deciding why Lelouch could have been Zero.

But it is heartbreaking to see Suzaku in an alternate universe, happy with Nunnally and Lelouch. Especially that beach scene, with Suzaku playing with Nunnally and Lelouch. Sadly, it is too late.

Without change,we end up becoming the very person we hate.

I was dead until the moment I met you. I was a powerless corpse pretending to be alive. Living without power, without the ability to change my course, was bound to lead me to a slow death.

Lelouch & Suzaku parting ways back when they were children, damn surprising, Lelouch said "I'm going to destroy Britannia!"...

This picture drama ended on a high note. A lot of extras are just okay, meh, or even bad. But this was a pretty good one, especially the ones giving more background on the characters. And this one at the end made everything go full circle, from Suzaku's first meeting with Lelouch and Nunally, and the moment they truly parted from each other's lives: at the end of the Britannian invasion of Japan.

Gave a lot of insight into Suzaku's perspective, such as how he saw a lot of the things that happened. Gave those who watched more chance to understand him too, and why he did what he did.

What I found most interesting was how he said that he realised the moment they parted, that was truly the end of their relationship. Even when they met again, it was under very different circumstances, and although they didn't know it yet (at least Suzaku didn't), they were against each other, not until R2 would we see any difference to that.

I might not have liked a lot of what Suzaku did (despite me completely being on Euphy's side, I just didn't like Suzaku much), but I respected him for his devotion to Nunally, and especially Euphy.

A great way to end the Picture Drama. A great complement to R1 that I believe everyone should watch. Solid 8/10.

This episode represents what I love about Code Geass. The clash of ideals, the inner conflicts of the characters, the unfortunate consequences of the actions of some people. The script in this one was so powerful, absolutely loved it 10/10
