| I saw this on /a/ the other day and thought it was a fun idea. You are locked in your room with no food and water. The door will not open until you have watched ALL the anime on your hard drive. Would you survive? Or are you royally screwed? _________________________________________________________________________ I have 113h55m worth of anime on my HDD. I'd be okay, but pretty dehydrated. edit: I'm glad it was anime only, and not manga... Then I'd be uber dead. |

| I wouldn't be dead, just in alot of pain after 2.8 days of non stop anime plus sleep deprivation hahaha. I actually ran the numbers for the reason being it's late at night and I had nothing better do. |
| Under normal conditions, the human body can last three days without water before you start dying of dehydration. Conserving sweat and holding your pee for as long as possible would help make what little bit of water you had left more efficient in use. In 72 hours (assuming no sleep, peeing/pooing on oneself, skipping OPs/EDs, and back-to-back playing) one could watch ~216 normal-length episodes. If you have any long runner on your HD, you would be screwed. You could watch ~16 long one course series or ~8 long two course series in the given time. I don't think I would make it under normal conditions. Now, if you have water, that's a different story. You could last over month or multiple months without food if you have a healthy weight or are overweight. After that point your body would start consuming it's own tissue. Even if you're a twig with a fast metabolism, your body would adjust to the lack of food and tone down its metabolism after awhile; you still wouldn't have quite as much time as someone with more weight, though. tl;dr: If you don't have water and you store many series on your HD, you won't make it. If you have water, even those with long runners might be able to make it depending on the overall number of episodes and one's own body weight/metabolism. |
| asu no longer has any animes on asus HDD so teh door wouldnt even close for a second asu has maybe 5hrs worth on a flash drive so itd be pretty easy nows asu used to have a flash drive (64GB) dedicated to animes but asu lost taht flash drive as for asus dvd collection a few days worth of animes asu wouldnt want to watch all of it w-out sleeps or waters or foods |

| I downlowd an ep and than delete it. so no I would probebly die after two days. since I have at list that much worth of ep on my computer. ironicly enogh I would still finish them before dying:D |

| I think I would die most likely. Depends on how much liquid I had before hand it certainly wouldnt be pleasant. 2 TB of anime is a lot. |
