| Ive got a question, im not sure if i can watch this without first watching Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto? Doeas it have reference to that ? Thx |

| I actually went and downloaded the original and marathon it yesterday. Then watched the first ep of this show. Really so far the ONLY thing that the first series might help you understand is the whole going to Tokyo for a month to train to be a mage thing. I have hope that we may run into a cameo or something but it doesn't look like it's that type of series so far. |

| The above 2 posts are correct, you do not have to have seen the first series before you watch Natsu no Sora. It is only a spin-off: Two different characters who live in the same world but never inter-twine. That is it. |
