Another one of my favorites, both as a Miyazaki film and a dub. The thing is, this film has TWO different dubs. There's the FOX dub from 1993, and then there's Disney's dub with Dakota Fanning. Which dub is better? In my opinion, neither. They both are appealing dubs in their own right. It helps to think of either dub as a different telling of a great story (or a different illustrator supplying paintings to a book). One catch in Disney's dub: the opening and ending songs feel too gung-ho, although on the flipside they sound more crisp than the FOX dub of yesteryear. Aside from that, another fine dub either way.
