| I hate Rukawa just as Hanamichi does. I think this match is so far more boring than first match Shohoku v Ryonan. |

| In the long term, Rukawa's plan was a wise one. He's got most of his energy and stamina and he can put in 2x the effort in the second half instead of pacing himself for 40 minutes. Also his sudden change in pace to full throttle seems to have thrown Ryonan off balance for the time being. I always crack up when he agitates Sakuragi as well, Sakuragi is getting kind of annoying now. Nearly 3/4 of the way through the series and he's still spouting the genius nonsense and belittling his clearly talented teammates for the sake of his ego. |

| Lol @ people hating the guy who plays to win and is seriously devoted to basketball while everybody gives a free pass to the guy who prays for his teammate to lose in free throws and hopes that the opposing rival will triumph his teammate just for the sake of him being #1. I love how most just say they hate/dislike Rukawa and nobody mentions about Sakuragi's petty remarks and actions. Rukawa can pass to Sakuragi without a second thought but Sakuragi? You can kill him and he still won't let go of the ball for Rukawa. Dude is so childish. I can't |
| At least, Sakuragi seems to be back on his groove. This is definitely gonna be Rukawa vs Sendoh show now. He learned what happened on Kainan. And wow, Rukawa pulling that layup move while still being fouled by Sendoh!! Even Sendoh couldn't believed it! Even Rukawa is confident in beating Sendoh! Hell yes! This is what Rivalry is all about!! |

| It's actually genius of him (sorry Sakuragi LOL) to conserve his energy in the second half, as he learns his weakness during their match against Kainan. And hopefully, Sakuragi will show more of the result of his training. Hoping Rukawa's comments and performance will make him work hard XD |
