| What I don't want to see is the story ending with Jinta dying, and thereby joining Menma. What I would like to see is a 'Jinta+Anaru-10-years-after' ending, with a daughter named Menma. Although I doubt it, since Jinta doesn't seem to be romantically interested, at all, in Anaru. What I forsee is Menma going to heaven and everyone left behind going their own separate way. With bullshit afterthoughts and whatnot at the end. |

The theory "Poppo had a crush on Menma" cames from episode 9 when he is alone with Menma in the secret base, he starts to ask something to her (before they start playing shiritori). It starts as 'did you [ love ] me' (ore no koto...), but might be something else. I would only say 'possible crush' for this one, I don't think Poppo loved Menma. He did never act like he was. And during this scene at the secret base, he speakｓ of 'that day' and 'at this moment' first. He would probably not ask Menma if she loved him on that day only. Maybe he wanted to ask if Menma hated him because of him pressing Jinta with his "say it, say it" part. And add a Poppo --> Jinta possible crush to the picture, this one is much more likely. And please stop it with the daughter named Menma thing... Anaru would never name her daughter from a girl she has been so jealous of. And you can't have babies with anaru, you know ? |

There is something macabre about a ghost paying their respects to the dead! So, what did Jinta's mum ask of Menma, and how does that relate to the whole group? | I knew it. Still teared up when I saw she didn't leave though and they were all confused. I think Menma's wish is to fulfill Jinta's mom's wish which is probably a message she wanted her to pass to Jinta. My favorite chara is still Nakuro. I hope they all get a happy ending.. |

We need to know what is this 'only one thing' that Jinta's mama told to Menma, which is probably the reason for everything, why Menma called the meeting, and why she hasn't found her peace yet because somehow she made a promise she could not keep (most likely something like help little Jinta to grow up and become a real man). Then we need to learn what Menma wanted to ask to the group while Jintan was not there. Then Jinta has to accept to let Menma go, this will fulfil his mama's wish and probably free Menma in an emotional climax. That's pretty much everything that really needs to be explain, all the other interrogations we may have are optional. I would like to see a flashback about 'that day' but I am not even sure it will happen (then I would be disappointed because I still do not understand why all of them feel so guilty, if there is not an important event we don't know regarding Menma's death). And there is something I expect since ep. 3, will these 2 pictures connect at last ? |
| It's kind of frustrating how selfish Jin-tan is acting :/ He wants to keep Menma trapped on earth as a ghost just because he doesn't want to let her go. I understand that he loves her, but it's kind of frustrating that he's trying to stop her from going to heaven :( I can't wait until the next episode. I knew that they were gonna wait til the very end to reveal Menma's wish. :) |

| During the first episode, I told myself the whole time that her wish was going to be "OH I WISH THAT EVERYONE COULD BE FRIENDS FOREVER AND KEEP HAVING FUN TIMES LIKE WE DID WHEN WE WERE KIDS!" Then the fireworks, and I thought I was wrong. But now that it's not the fireworks, I'm really hoping, and I mean REALLY HOPING, that that isn't her wish. | we have several options: 1.Menma decides to live as a ghost and later suffers the consequences and becomes a poltergeist 2. Menma was actually in comma in another country, then she wakes up. Clannad influences 3. Menma disappears and reincarnates when Jintan is a 30 year old guy.Clamp Style 1 4. Menma becomes an angel and protects everyone. [Clamp style 2. Cant wait for the last ep! XD |
