| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- You sure Urobuchi isn't writing this? Not bad enough that we had girls turning into witches, now we have a girl that turned into a witch... twice. Plus, Saints at the cross. The symbolism is off the chart. For all that he has done in the anime and in Oriko, I will say that was Kyubey's biggest asspull yet. That was as bad as with Homura's, times a thousand. Not that I feel sorry for Airi. Hers and Yuuri's story is certainly a tragic one, but I only feel sorry for the latter. Even though she could bear a grudge against them, that was way over the line. The Pleiades saved her from a monster, and even if it was her best friend, she should have understood it. Sure, it's also Kyubey's doing, but if you ask me, she is just a bloodthirsty bitch. And then she refuses salvation... Given the last chapter, I did think the the Pleiades were up to something, but they really did nothing wrong, at least in that case. However, Saki still has the same angry reactions. And her faces, when Yuuri/Airi says they've killed her... there's something there. At least Satomi, Umika and Kaoru look ashamed... The focus now is back on Kazumi. She doesn't get turned into a pseudo-witch, but she does get a power surge, and her eyes get split... It's kinda of a common to see "evil" power boosts that then turn into something much, much worse, and I think we're headed that way. Plus, the mystery of how she came into the picture is getting bigger and bigger. She is called "the most important thing" to the Pleiades, and she apparently wasn't with them when the real Yuuri was killed. Of course, they'll have to deal with the Queen of Hearts first. Bah, think it was bad enough to wait a week (and then 6) for Madoka? Now we have a month for this... every time. On that note, short chapter once again. Think they'll go with 26-page chapters from now on? |

| This chapter was so awesome! I feel sorry for Airi but Homura had much worse. It would be awesome if this got anime adaptation. |

| And so, this makes it officially Hijacked by Ganon! Kyuubey is again the Big Bad who is working as the Man Behind the Man and the Airi and Yuuri scenario parallels that of Sayaka and Kyousuke. Damn! Did Urobuchi meddle across the story past CHAPT 3? The way this is going, I think some things are getting darker and edgier here plus the characters are given some improvement. Hope to see C6 later on. |
