Okay, okay I think we're still in the confusion phase, but it's okay. We're getting more background on the characters.
Ig Okabe is one of those next-level truther/conspiracy theorists who doesn't really have the scientific background to support his claims
On the other hand we have Kurisu who has a lot of scientific background and seems a little more grounded in reality in regard to her beliefs

Mayuri and Daru seem to just hang around Okabe in their spare time for fun and go along with his antics

So there happened a lot in this episode!
First of all Makise Kurisu was... just not dead, that was not resolved but remains highly interesting.
What I liked a lot was the transfeminine temple guy who was incredibly cute, but even more the contrast between the playful stupid main character guy and stuff becoming more and more real. Like all the small and big things that just puzzle you, the whole plot is basically just little misteries that happen to him and the viewer has to figure out why, or rather, wants to figure it out, which keeps it interesting, while there is a baseline plot of just everyday life going on.
I also loved the end with the banana here and Makise just suddenly being there, it is all very intriguing and I am excited to learn more about it all. Very good episode!

Viewing the story from the MCs POV can be a lot at times, especially when he rambles. I enjoyed more context and world building in this episode. The re-intro to John T and his time traveling ways. I have a suspicion it's our MC from the future. The plot is starting to reveal itself and I'm already much more invested from episode 1. Several more characters were introduced. The MC seems like an unreliable narrator, he is erratic. I like the humor of the technology names (subject to change). But what the hell is going on with that banana?

I really enjoy the voice acting but the art style isn't my favorite but it seems indicative of the time it came out.

i have to say this show has so many cool and random characters. the maid cafe or meow cafe is very cool too faris is great.the part time worker is totally outdated lol which may be an indication of time travel i suppose and the best one so far is the boy who looks and acts like a girl, that entire scene was awesome. The banana teleport was interesting maybe mad scientist isnt so delusional after all.(he is)

this episode was somewhat interesting, made things compelling to watch and piqued my interest. i am honestly quite surprised that author is introducing side character one by one (which i mainly think is because it is based on vn).

The MC the side character all are amazingly writtten the first half was 7-8 out of 10 but the second half made it 10/10

@wailamnice , That's the problem with an anime based on a VN. They can't cover all the details in 24 episode. As someone who played the VN first, the Anime sound like a fast recap.
