Well, it can't be helped. As long as it airs eventually. Earthquake coverage is more important right now.

I'm thinking it will be a summer broadcast now because of the director's commitments to direct Appleseed XIII during the spring season (April-July).

There are more important things to cover on television. I don't mind, even though I was looking forward to it.

Guys, it's just a few days chill out. Japan's recovery is more important than anime and manga right now.

Sure, the earthquake is sad and all, but do they really need to show the SAME news on ALL the TV channels at 2 AM or whenever these anime air ?

I'll wait until the situation got better then. I'm really looking forward to this and I don't mind waiting a few days or even a few more months for this to aired.

come on people, you should expect things to be totally messed up for some time now. this is not an issue for any of us to even try to be bummed about. considering that there is a ton of people right now who have lost loved once, and even more are stuck in the cold with no roof over their heads, you could show some sense as to wait a few weeks for your beloved show.

It's normal, with the events in Japan, it was inevitable.
First, save people and after the superfluous things.
I wait the anime with impatience.

Screw the anime. Being safe is more important and at this moment Japan is still on a big danger.

I don't think it's so much what they're putting on TV as they're not able to release it as soon as they planned. They've got to plan this stuff out, and with people getting hit all over the place people aren't going to be able to get to work. Besides, they'd lose a lot of views due to this as well.

I expected this to get delayed. I was looking forward to it, but all things considered this is for the best. Anime is taking a backseat right now, as it should.

no one in Japan wants to watch anime right now anyway so whats the point of showing it when there's probably going to be a few viewers.

Well, watching anime can act as a relaxant from all this chaos. But the producers would just be losing money if they broadcast them.
I was really looking forward to the best-selling light novel adaption though :/ I wanted to experience a One Piece volume of light novels.

You relax a bit by watching an anime then you missed a single news that you really need to be aware of.
What if that single news will gonna kill all of you in a matter of minutes?

I hope that this doesn't negatively impact the quality of this or Appleseed XIII, seeing as the director will be doing a Shinbou Akiyuki and will be directing both at the same time.

I'd assume Moshidora would be almost completely finished, given that it was due to air in a such short time frame...
