I downloaded the movie to put on my psp to watch on a coach along with Eureka Seven: Pocket Full of Rainbows. I'll tell you something. Never watch these films on a bus filled with your friends. This was the second time i watched both of these movies in a consecutive sequence and the pain i felt in my chest that i felt 2 years ago ached.

What were your responses when you first watched 5CMPS?

Akari and Takagi should've ended together. And the song with the scenes of their past just got to me. You HAVE to watch the full movie to understand and feel how a story combined with anime can do.

I also made the error of watching this it the common room at school.

"Keiran, is that a tear?".. o.O
"*sniffff*....nope..." *poker face*

I think you should probably use spoiler tags at the end of that post though.

Tbh i think the film is pretty close to perfection in everything. Visual, audio and of course the simple but moving story.

The Masayoshi Yamazaki song at the end is possibly the most fitting song i have seen in any anime.

I think i gave it 9/10.

Yeah, made a mistake of watching in a house full of family.
Me: *crying hysterically but softly at what is happening between these two, clutching chest in pain*
Aunt: Hey, Kristal, i need you to- uh, well maybe another time, yeah?

It's unbelievable how much it hurt to watch that. It was so so sad, and realistic.

the movie has a good message through the fact that all the characters serve as anti-examples, it's about telling someone that you love them. which is depressing but beautiful. the production values of this movie are top-notch, the shots are subtle and thought-out. the third part with the trains blocking takaki and akari kills me every time.

It was a very spectacular movie. I love the way the story progress because i felt like i was Takaki and felt all the emotions and pains he felt. No matter how many times i watch this movie, it always makes me shed some tears.

The themes was easy to pick up, even with just watching the first episode. That's what makes this movie so great.

I can't believe that they took a slice of my life and put it in an anime - a beautiful and yet sad story.......

Yup, I think that you connect to this anime that much more if you had at least a remotely similar experience in your life. It hits me in the soft spot so much. That probably doesn't suit a grown up man, but I cried a little... Call me a crybaby. ;)

I can understand that it can be boring, just like listening about somebody else's emotional problems that you can't really relate to or understand that much, since you're just so different of a person. But for me it was heart breaking experience all over again, and it was kind of hard to watch. And the ending was just, well, it was what it was. We all know I'd want a different one, just like I'd like to change the past. ;) But no, really, the ending of this anime was perfect as it was. Regular "happy ending" would just so spoil and ruin the whole nostalgia and sadness. On another note, it actually was "kind of" a happy ending, if he decided to move on.

I watched it, then just kinda took it in for 15 minutes. Then I turned off my laptop and went to sleep, still feeling it.
What do I need a signature for? All you need to know is I watch anime and read manga.
