Thanks for the list, but is it really possible to watch without fillers? What I mean is, I skipped Bounto arc and came back at episode 110 only to see some characters I've never seen before and some events they're talking about I have no idea about. I almost stopped watching Naruto because of fillers, but found similar thread to this so I now watch it filler-free, and I'd really like to continue watching Bleach since I like it alot. ANYWAY, my question is, do these filler characters/events happen often or is it rarity? I don't really like coming back to 5 new characters without knowing them since everyone in the show seems to be their new best friend. |

Wow I wish that I've read this thread sooner. As far as I think the Heuco Mundo Arc was like a Spanish version while the Quincies for the 1000th death on the final arc was German, due to my observation with their 2nd forms and bankai's |

It had some stuff to do with one of the captains, but nothing important to the main plot. The 2nd long one (168-189) is about a new captain that leaves at the end of the filler, and a small royal family in Soul Society, but it has nothing to do with the main plot. The 3rd long one (230-265) was made by the author himself. In this arc the souls of the swords release themselves from the swords and start a rebellion led by a soul named by one of the famous swords in Japan, Muramasa. It explains some stuff about the swords, and it has something to do with one of the captains, but again, nothing to do with the main plot. The 4th long one (316-341) explains the creation of mod souls (Kon is one) and the enemies are copies of the captains of Soul Society led by someone who made these copies, but it also has nothing to do with the main plot. Most of the other few filler episodes are just some daily life stuff that has nothing to do with action nor the main plot. |

They all should pull a Gintama and just go on Hiatus. IMO. Really just skip it all, unless you absolutely love the show with a burning passion (which is kinda sad) then you could tolerate the filler. But if you think its "MEH" like 85% of everyone that watches it. I suggest skipping it you ain't missing anything important :D Though, if you want a good show drop this go to One Piece or Hunter x Hunter :D As they all say Bleach is just DBZ with swords and a linear swiss cheese plot. |

Nice thread. BAck in the day I dropped bleach because of the shitty bound arc. After a quick calculation, there are 151 (like pokemon in R/B/Y) crappy fillers out of the 366 episodes, that equals to 41% of garbage lmao. I'm so glad I dropped this long ago. Anyway, this would be helpful for people new to this anime to get to the point. No need fillers to kill the show, it does it by itself (imo). Cheers. |

Tyvm for this helpful guide. I stopped watching this during the Bount Arc, but that was back before I knew what the fillers were. I really loved the SS Arc and now want to pick this back up and give it another shot. Thanks for posting this. :D |

Substitute Soul Reaper Disappearance : is this worth watching? i watched the main story without fillers so far ( until ep 310 ). Or should skip this and go right to the manga. Or will they animate the manga some day when it is finished cuz then i rather wait. |

In Inuyasha, how the characters constantly do random crap that has nothing to do with the central plot events? Say.. they go and help an old woman with a problem and fight a random demon. Thats filler? |

Most longer anime do have filler as to not catch up to the manga because the anime can animate at least a couple chapters at a time.IntroverTurtle said: Solvite said: Content that was not in the manga, that's how we define it on this site. Question. This part on that list: Skip 311-341?, why does it have a question mark? Is it because you're unsure if it was filler or was it something else? I just want to make sure, even though I still have a while to get to those episodes... |

It's one of the better filler arcs, but it's still not that great, and you're ok if you just skipped it and started from 342 only.I was wondering if i need to see some filler's before i can start watching the Substitute Soul Reaper Disappearance arc. |
