| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Futaba just reacted too early I guess, should have waited for Kio to finish his sentence :P Other than that, there's quite a bit of shooting here^^ I thought it would be better for Aoi to use a different weapon to the close range attack, but it looks like we are going to have more of that later on :D Kio against Jen at the end maybe? :) |

| Nice episode finally something happening. Injecting the captain with nano bots was unexpected yet smart, and arguably yet another Star Trek reference. Then again Star Trek is hard to avoid as sci-fi having to do with space. The part about Xmas is arguable as well, the question is how many people still celebrate it because of religion? And how many people don't celebrate it because there atheist? Not many, most people celebrate it for other reasons most common would probably be a excuse to get together. As for those who don't celebrate it the most common course is that it's to commercial. One thing i am wondering about tho is why didn't the pick up those assist droids attacking the ship, where they using stealth or something? |

Probably too small to detect on their radar as it was probably meant to pick up larger craft and floating objects, not small droids. |

| Wow, the meaning of celebrating Christmas and who celebrates it, discussed in this episode?? Captain Kuune eating the barbecue sounds pretty erotic and sexy XD So much for Kio's suit. Exploding tags. With different variations such as freezing time. Gotta get me one of those. I'll freeze all the girls and then... ;D Lolplot finally kicking in. Now it's up to Kio to save the day. Oh joy, we're saved =3= 2 episodes left. Let's get this over with... |

| We are experiencing the 'oh shiz we need plot' theory. This theory says that after a short season without any real arcs, there will be a 3 episode arc at the end to form a 'conclusion'. Although i have to say, that was surprisingly good action. I loved how Kio's robot kicked ass even if he was a plot hole for being operable in the gas. The other thing i didn't see coming was the time freeze and sending the bridge to hyperspace... O.o |

A show needs to have a conclusion (for the most part) so they try to make a conclusion. In all honesty, I enjoy these types of shows. |

| I don't see why everyone's "complaining" about the 'plot' coming late? The plot was about how the Catians try to befriend earth to begin with. That was introduced in episode 1. On the way we naturally encountered difficulties that ultimately lead to a big confrontation that decides wether the Catians succeed or not. We had some calm episodes, some more 'dangerous'; they took their time to develop the characters and built up the tension for the final conclusion. Most of you would be pissed if they'd have the fight against the Dogs midway through the series and would continue with random specials, right? Anyway, I enjoy this show and this episode was pretty sweet; I wonder what they might do to stop the ship? oh, btw, everytime I see a closeup of the Dog-Girl, I get reminded of Lightning (FFXIII)...until I notice the ears :'D |
