It probably has to do with how he does want Nunnally to live in her peaceful world, yet at the same time, he really really wants to destroy Britannia (not just for Nunnally sake, although it's a big reason why). The conflict was too much for him because he didn't know whether or not agree with Nunnally or to continue his goal of bringing Britannia down. I guess he just really needed to think about which one is more important to him. Though near the end he said that it wasn't just about Nunnally anymore. I'm guessing that means he's just playing along for the moment. |
| One thing that really dislike about this that it repeat's the same formula again and again and again. Every battle start's by black knight's owning but then the Britannias bring up their super mech's and own the black knight's tech wise. But then suddenly the black knight's get's a sudden power up and kick their asses. Then there is shit like the bubbles in this episode. How many times we have seen this sort of thing happen already. |

| Lelouch goes through some deep depression, which almost ended with him using Refrain, but Kallen is there to stop him. Damn, them kissing would have been nice, but I bet that will come later on. |

| We had Lelouch's breakdown coming... People don't lead wars or revolutions without being seriously affected after all. It would just be a lack in the story if it hadn't been written in somewhere. They showed before that his mental condition isn't that well anymore even though he hides it pretty well. I liked getting to see his human side. Advancing the plot not with a twist but with character development this time was a really nice change. I also liked how his friends were the ones who dragged him out of his depression. CC's talking to Marianne creeps me out... I'm glad Kallen backed out there... What Lelouch did was no better than Shirley's giving no other choice to Lelouch back in S1. It just wasn't right of him to ask that. It's not out of real emotion, it's simply using Kallen for his comfort, which is exactly what he asked. Also, nobody's messed with Kallen's memories, right? Then wasn't she supposed to recognise Nunnally? Then that was a big plot hole... |

| Lelouch's development in this episode was phenomenal. The scene in Shinjuku with Lulu about to take refrain then trying to force himself on Kallen... just... wow. One of the most emotionally dramatic moments in the series and probably the best since the scene with Shirley almost shooting Lulu. I can't fathom what direction this is going next! I've been wondering this entire time what would've happened had Lulu not dun goofed and accidentally made Euphy commit mass genocide, and it looks like we're about to find out. |

| It was hard for me to see Lelouch like that, seeing him depressed like that is just plain wrong. I wish He would just kill Suzaku already. And now He's joining forces with them? I really hope it's a trick to fool Suzaku. I'm sure Lelouch has some kind of plan up his sleeve. |

| Well that was pretty much exactly what I expected from the title. Reminded me generally of the classic Romita Spiderman issue "Spiderman No More." Which was heavily riffed on in the second movie. I wouldn't have respected Lelouch if he immediately abandoned Nunally. She was the supposed reason for him becoming Zero. But that didn't make this any more fun to watch. Especially given how far they took it. Like we know this isn't even halfway through the second season. Clearly he's not just going to fall into depression and die here. Don't waste our time. While it gave him a really good scene with Kallen. Him turning to the forget horrible shit drug was a little too much for me. Little too drastic of a character change even if he's going through a lot right now. One of the things I'm most curious about going forward is how Rolo's going to take this change. Especially since it's driven by Nunally who the show seems to be telegraphing Rolo as being jealous of. Will he view Lelouch's promise to him as forfeit and go back to the Britannians? Is he that loyal to Lelouch right now he'll follow him down whatever crazy path he's taking? Guess we'll have to wait and see. |

| Why didn't Kallen react to Nunally at all? Her memories haven't been wiped out so she should have confronted Lelouch about his sister being a princess etc. I can't imagine Lelouch telling the Black Knights (the ones he had to tell) about his royal background, so that lack of a reaction made no sense at all |

| Wow, be careful Lelouch, don't cut yourself with that Edge. When he told Kallen he wanted to ask her a favor I shouted "Fuck me", then bursted out laughing. EMO/10 Thank God he snapped out of it quickly. Jk, this episode was good, didn't expect the ending. |

| Character development continues to grow, what a great episode. On a side note, I'm kind of annoyed how c.c has turned into a secondary character, although it can't really be helped. (also she knows about Marianne?) It's interesting how Rollo has so many insecurities despite seemingly having full control of his geass. Doesn't he have a contract to fulfil? |
