Gintama ? and i think what matters the most is that the episodes, cause some anime have like 51 episodes in one season but mostly are 12-13 episodes seasonal anime...

As far as modern seasonal shows that release in 12-26 episode batches, probably. As far as anime in general, definitely not

Well this is the only anime i watched and that has 7 season all the others have maybe 4 season but no more. But im sure there may be other animes tjat have more seasons c:

No. Obviously not. But if we say the rule is that the title has to have season x in the name than nastume’s book of friend will have season 7 releasing soon I think.

in terms of a regular schedule of 24-26 episodes per season and a new season every year or two then yeah MHA is probably one of the first to hit 7, but obviously if we factor in a bunch of old anime that span hundreds of episodes but do not follow that release schedule, they'll have surpassed that amount

Well yeah, MHA is a long seasonal production anime.

Other long running anime like One Piece is a weekly anime production.

the "certain" series is like its own cinematic universe and has like over 200 episode combined spread over diffrent seasons and stories

its becuz shonen anime today aint episoding like naturo, bleach and inuyasha, katekyo did... back 10-20 years ago a season of anime was about 100+ episodes for shonen . by those terms u can say that with season 6 they reached 150 episodes. so season 7 is techincly a start of season 2 by old anime terms

@Lucide_ bleach NEVER HAD 16 SEASON LOL... ITS THE WEST WHO PROBABALY BROKE SEASON 1 INTO PIECES and made up "seasons" XDDD
bleach 2nd season only was recenly released.

@Zxstu actully wrong. one piece only has 1 season currently... america screwd all the anime terms and broke animes into made up seasons...

no probably not, but most animes if they reach at this length, they will stop calling it as "seasons" and rather add a separate additional name or not, but this doesn't seem to be the case with MHA

Nah it's probably the first one ! The long running titles that most people are mentioning here are just shows with many airings . In case of counting as seasons it is the first one




Complex Stories are basically sleeping pills . Helps to get some sleep .
