Personally, it’s just not exactly my taste, I liked it, it was nicely made. But the plot wasn’t interesting to me, and I didn’t enjoy the themes as much.

I don't know if I'll get trolled after posting this but if this is a genuine question and you genuinely want to know, then.... here's my answer:
I don't think FMAB is a bad anime, not at all
but for some reason I just didn't like this anime at all
like, I just didn't feel anything at all watching it
I mean, I totally understand why people love this anime so much. I even realized which scenes from which episodes influenced this anime's popularity the most
but I just wasn't able to feel what other FMAB fans could apparently feel.
again, by no means am I saying this anime is bad,
All I can say is that I got really bored by the first half of the show, cause it just didn't hit me like other anime like AOT, or Death Note, etc.
that's why I've given this anime 6/10 cause it just felt fine, not good, but not bad either
I didn't like it but I didn't hate it either
If you've reached till the end of this, thank you for tolerating my bad take and taste in anime
I hope you will forgive me for not liking your favourite anime
(I'm apologizing because I've been told that the FMAB fandom is really toxic, and I don't want to get cancelled 🤧)

I can agree with u bro , as there are many peoples having different taste and also many animes available in the market 😏 so every anime have some flaws and no one is 100% best

I'll say first and foremost that FMAB will stand in my top 3 anime series of all time. However, I still think it has a couple flaws. First, does anyone remember Envy's "true form" in the series, that bulls**t little worm? In honesty, I prefer the homunculi from FMA the original series. Secondly, we all know Edward wears his emotions on his sleeve for the most part... but, his emotional immaturity sometimes really pushes my buttons. I know Ed & Al are young, but they're old enough and have been through enough that they can control their emotions better than they do in my opinion.

The fanbase is the worst thing about the anime. Being one of the most popular anime eith most favorites on MAL, it's natural it has the greatest line of defence. The fans are hostile towards any show that reaches top 3. FMAB gets benefit of 'Rich gets richer' phenomenon, And the rich would do anything to maintain its position.

I have absolutely 0 problems with the show besides one thing which is that I wish comedy was used more appropriately as a few scenes I thought it didn’t fit but besides that I think of FMAB as absolutely flawless

The first episode is one of the worst episodes in anime. It is filler that spoils a major plot point in the series. They tell you that the people running the capital like king Bradley are secretly evil. Also, the filler villain in that episode has some wacky ass name like doofendorts or something. It doesn’t even bother introducing the characters because it expects you to know them already. I think this really messes up the pacing. The only good thing that episode does in my opinion is characterize Kimblee. Next, some of the chimera/human character designs are a bit weak. The lion guy and his buddy stand out as the worst characters and designs imo. Other than that it’s perfect

Sudden mood swings, creating plot progression out of jokes, the running gags get old rather quickly, story only kicks in after a bunch of semi-episodic episodes, ...

The poor jokes and the resulting in deformed artstyle bites away from the gripping and tense moments & sometimes It's a lil annoying. Other than that? None!

1. Shitty comedy, absolutely abhorrent.
2. Main villain isn't really interesting
3. A lot of side characters are pretty bland
4. The final fight was kinda anti-climactic for me.
5. Alchemy has so much promise but mostly its just bland repeated same attacks, not utilising the potential.

Nonetheless i think its a brilliant anime and i have given it a 9/10 despite these flaws.

I don't find the start of the anime that captivating, but after watching more of it, Fmab was definitely worth the time I spent. One of my favorite anime for sure.

Because they spend through a whole chunk of it, it was made expecting that the viewers saw 03, (I mean the first 10 eps were literally half the show in 03, they cut out whole arcs)

It's mostly for little kids who are very boring. The writing is plain vanilla and the end makes no sense. Characters aren't very good, nothing much happens in it. It's an entry anime, it shouldn't be regarded very highly once you've watched a couple more. Unfortunately people never get to that point.

Most other anime will be better than FMAB which is trying to be the most mainstream series of all-time.

As someone whose favorite anime isn't FMA:B, I wouldn't say there's anything bad about it other than the beginning being a little rushed. (That being said a bunch of my other faves like Steins;Gate or Madoka don't have the strongest beginnings either).

It's not that FMA:B has significant flaws or bad things (it's an extremely solid and well-rounded show overall), it's just there are other shows I like even more.

The beginning was a bit slow for me and I didn’t fell a connection to the characters until halfway through the show. However I felt like the show greatly improved on the second half enough to compensate for the slow start. Overall it’s a great show. Was a 9/10 for me.

I don’t think there’s really any flaws in the show.

However for me personally i felt like there was a lot left to be desired from the fight scenes. Every single fight in the entire show was interrupted or cut short somehow for one reason or another. Every battle either one of the characters gave up & ran away or someone came in to stop the fight every time, leaving each battle feeling very anticlimactic & just overall felt unimportant bc i knew that any given battle would go undecided.

Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t necessarily take anything away from the show & i wouldn’t really call it a flaw per se. But for me personally i feel edged in that regard & therefore dont count the show in my top 10

The flaws l noticed in Fmab is the world building. 64 episodes were too less to properly introduce us to the countries showed in it and thus various cities and places didn't create an memorable effect! Here l mean the name of many cities and places are the most forgotten things in Fmab which needed atleast 90-100 episodes to make an never forgetting effect. Here l m not pointing out the main places like Ishbal or Xerxes, leaving them aside and are still many forgotten places.
The show just roughly introduced to such places in a episode and use it again after 25-30 episodes out of nowhere. This is a major flaw in Fmab.
Another flaw l wanna point out is the use of so much comedy in the early episodes. Tbh the first 5 episodes were straight away boring. The story got its hold after the 6th episode but still the comedy used ahead doesn't fit entirely for this show. This show generally had a really dark setting if you look behind and think deeply. Little comedy is fine, some of those were really important but many times l felt it was unnecessary. They could have show it in a more darker way which anyways would be lightened up at end by such a heartwarming ending.
Anyways it's still a 9.4 on 10. No ending can beat it and the story fits well to the end.
But it's still not my most fav anime, l have animes which l like more than Fmab. There are plenty animes which has the same or better storyline but got messed up at end. But still can't keep an anime at top just by its ending. Don't get me wrong, having a satisfying end is not so easy to accomplish and Fmab did it after facing failure in Fma. I truly believe for this reason alone leaving all aside, it is a masterpiece ( Tho it has got plenty more reasons). But there are animes which are more special to me than Fmab.

Its consistency and lack of flaw are balanced by less peak moments compared to other shonen but it’s nearly a perfect anime
