i don't really understand why the shadow dragons only happen to awaken to children that are basically fascists. like, do you have to have a certain amount of hitler particles floating around inside you before you get handed a dragon by the universe? it doesn't seem like any "normal" children get them. except shiina i guess, but she's abnormal in the other direction in regards to sociability lmao

It was just written when kitou was going through an angsty period if I had to guess? Even if there was a lore explanation for why such fuckups got world changing powers it'd be made up after the fact that he decided he wanted psychopaths with powers. Bokurano was a lot better if you haven't read it yet
