| HypMic is back for Round 2 of the rapping game since its premiere season 3 years ago, which I LOVED the heck out of it back in the day. The OP featuring all 6 rap groups, it's fine...Season 1's OP was fire. The ED from Buster Bros!! is unique, though a cheerful vibe. The 2nd Division Rap Battle may have been done, but there is trouble concerning the hypnosis mics, and the Otome Group must be careful of enemies. Season 2 featuring the 2 new rap groups of Bad Ass Temple and Dotsuitare Hompo, as well as the returning 4 rap groups from Season 1, everything seemed normal after their rendezvous from the battle, with each group acting on their own agendas. Still though, it's good to see the 4 rap groups working together, though Buster Bros!!! handle their own Ikebukuro division, saving innocent people from the terrorist that was dealt with back in Season 1, now armed with illegal mics that not even other rap groups can handle. And even though the Yamada brothers have won the battle, this is only just the start. There is a larger plot this time, so let's see what Season 2 will have in store for the fans. |

| THEY! ARE! BACK! It's been too long. AND THEY'RE EXPANDED TOO! Finally we get to see both BAT and DH in action!! Right out the door, we're not only exposed to the new divisions, but they also get mixed up - in shenanigans, and many among each other too. I think this first episode is very well done structure-wise, everyone makes an appearance, everyone manages to establish themselves: we don't only get the vibe that they're a lot more intertwined than they seemed last time (I'm always a sucker for the frenemy setups), but also that there's something greater happening in the background that's gonna end up tying them all together. It's not necessarily some epic outta-this-world season opening, certain elements do remain rather generic for that still, but it's a nicely built up episode that I'd guess isn't only a joy to watch for fans who've been waiting for so long, but also for anyone who might just jump in this time around (word of advice for newbies: the key is not to take anything too seriously). |
| wasnt expecting to see that guy from s1 back so that was interesting ig,, this ep felt super similair to the start of s1 so i hope things get a bit more different as the season continues. with that out of the way im very excited to see more bad ass temple stuff!!! hopefully some more nemu too |

| Hypnosis Mic is back with a second season featuring Bad Ass Temple from Nagoya division and Dotsuitare Hompo from Osaka division. It seems like the anime is picking up after the 2nd DRB with events that will lead up to the 3rd DRB that was announced recently. We got to see all the guys from other divisions get together which lead to a rap battle between Buster Bros. and the robber from Season 1. The robber had a lot of illegal mics that were given to him by mysterious guys in white hoods. I'm not sure if the hooded guys are anime only, but they could be apart of the anti-party of words group that was mentioned in the drama tracks. The soundtrack to Season 2 is called "Welcome 2 Rhyme Anima +" and it will be on sale to purchase and stream on Spotify on January 10, 2024. |

| I am so glad we were given a second season <3 this anime is way different from all the other anime with males singing... they aren't idol groups.. they are better :D |

| I loved this so fuckin much, I'm glad they seem to be keeping the plot as insane as S1 because I really love when Hypmic just goes over-the-top lol. The animation is soooo much nicer now and oh my god they went above and beyond in animating DH and BAT, their personalities were captured so well!! The opening is siiickkk and the ending animation and song are the cutest things ever :') The BB song was cool too, super excited for more songs since it seems they'll be as good as ever! |

| I'm so glad we got an s2 and having all the groups involved in episode 1, also calling back to s1 with the robber. Buster Bros Bring it On was great! Always was a favorite!!! Also Ramuda passing out buster Bros merch was great. The ED is probably my favorite of the seasons, loved the visuals. |

WHATZUP EVERYBADIE the King of Japanese multimedia rap project is back, but this time with a new challenger Paradox Live. To take on a new rival, HypMic sequel brings two new teams to the anime scene. I find it very interesting that not only this season has two rap anime but also two auto racing anime as well, very rare indeed.
My first impression, ParaLive has better character designs and graphic, while HypMic has better music and visual effect. Obviously, it's too soon to judge on the story.

| @phantomfandom I checked out the first episode of Paradox Live and its pretty dope, so I'll keep an eye one it. Music wise is has more of a K-Pop vibe after listening to BAE while HypMic draws its influence from American Rap styles. Story wise I heard that Paradox Live is more serious and emotionally heavy if you listen to the drama tracks. Another good thing about Paradox Live is that the person who voices BAE member Anne Faulkner is the same person who did the singing voice for Eiko in Paripi Koumei 96neko(96猫) |
