| The exam is complete with Paopao and Dongsong taking first followed by Xuanyuan's Luyue, Mengmeng and Bear trap and Quyiu. The rich girl finished in 5th place with no clue on the exam st all lol. A massive plot point is revealed during talks woth Dongdong and Luyue. NPCs like Luyue and Yuqiu are able to gain awareness or sentience beyond a regular NPC. Just like them, players can also be turned into NPCs however Dongdong's case of turning into a monster is a rare one only he's encountered. Sentient NPCs can enter the real world too since players can enter NPC bodies. Xuanyuan sect Luyue has a sad story of how she gained her sentience after discovering grief from the players she frequently interacted with as an NPC. Death was the major catalyst for her conversion. Also turns out she's a level 100 Ascension V NPC no wonder the Xuanyuan leaders didn't want to meddle in her affairs. So much info released this episode but it's already too late to get into the more interesting arcs at this point. Too much time wasted on the exam arc. |
