| It's funny how Haida's father and brother have given names but he does not; he's just "Haida". I wish the series had gotten to this point much earlier. I don't know if two episodes is enough to develop this election idea and, hopefully, bring in ideas from the earlier parts of the series together into something. Episode 10 might be double-length like it was in season 4, but it still doesn't seem like much time. If Jiro is 25, how old is Haida? I thought he'd also be 25 since Retsuko is and he joined the company at the same time (the very first scene of season 1). In a sense tme isn't passing for the characters because Retsuko has been 25 since season 1, despite all that's happened in between. This really is a minor issue but it's sloppy, like how Haida is apparently broke after wasting 300,000 yen even though he's hasn't had to pay rent. The show never used to have little problems like this. Similarly, the joke about Retsuko becoming an astronaut points to a problem the show has had since season 2; that Retsuko keeps getting involved with incredible events just so the show has something dramatic to be about when the premise of season 1 was that Retsuko was an ordinary person and even a bit boring. |

| Very excited for the last few episodes. I was not expecting Aggretsuko to turn into House of Cards - the first Netflix original show. Let's just hope this Netflix original ends better than that one did! |
