| Man, this is just one depressing ass ending. I don't think I've ever felt this depressed by an ending in a manga ever. I do however, feel like the ending is a bit underwhelming. The point of Ayumu suffering is that he acts like an example for the Blade Children to live through the difficulties in their own lives but damn, after everything he's been through, he has to slowly die, losing parts of himself as time goes on and finally it just ends. And Hiyono is there for a while before she leaves again. Well maybe its less underwhelming and more like I don't like this ending. Guess we don't always get what we want. Nice to see that Rio, Ryouko and Kousuke are fine (for now...). But still, this is just... so damn depressing. |
