| A pretty childish quarrel, but they're kids after all. Yamato is way too emo, kind of like Taichi better. Good that they made up in the end and grew up in the progress, hopefully it'll be a good coming-of-age anime as well! :D |

| I like to call this the start of the gay; the ho yay all starts here. And it's really the highlight of this episode, lol. But, man, did I forget how much of a brocon Yamato is. It's interesting how bad it is here; it's more that Yamato needs Takeru rather than the other way around. Though I'm surprised Taichi didn't have a bigger reaction considering he has similar issues; then again, Yukidarumon AND Gabumon are MVP this episode. Gabumon doesn't get enough love for his loyalty and patience with dealing with Yamato. :( And the side digimon voices are getting zanier every time, I love it. lmao ...And how did I miss they hold hands this episode?! I know where they reunite and grab each others' hands was used by shippers, but when they're falling, they're holding hands! When in the previous shot Taichi grabbed his wrist/palm area. Then they start and KEEP holding hands like no big deal until they stand up, hahaha. And I never seen shippers use that as a clue. It wouldn't be all that interesting if they were strong friends before that or even regular friends similar to how Gabumon and Agumon are, but... it's hinted that Taichi and Yamato barely knew each other before this. I don't know if they even knew each other before summer camp. So it's striking how much they touch each other plus all the rivalry. Edit: Forgot to mention, man that repeated animation, especially with Yamato running, is too obvious. The Yamato one is probably the most iconic for me since I've hated since I was a kid. | Devimon. How convenient that Taichi's clothes are there. lol at Agumon burning Taichi's clothes. Yukidarumon. Adult. Dat gear. Zettai Reido Punch! Taichi is a ace striker. Dat miracle kick. The gear is out. Yamato and Gabumon. Gabumon looks for Takeru. Yamato: TAKERU!!!!!!!!!!! Agumon has no inferior complex. Yamato buried in snow. Gabumon took off his fur. Who is that? WTF Yamato! Taichi just made an observation about Gabumon's cold. He wans't making fun of him. Why are you so worked up? WTF Yamato! Why are you pushing Taichi? Taichi tackles Yamato. WTF! Yamato punched Taichi. Dat Taichi tackle. Fuck him up Taichi. Yamato starts crying before Taichi gives him the finishing blow. Dat fall. Mojyamon! Adult. Yukidarumon with the save. Dat theme. Greymon. Garurumon. Back to file island. Getting tired of Yamato's shit. This is the 2nd time Taichi didn't do anything to Gabumon. The first being Taichi jokingly asking Gabumon for his fur then Gabumon says no and runs away. Taichi didn't even get a chance to change his reaction and Yamato immediately shoves him. Now Taichi makes an observation about Gabumon's cold and Yamato does it again. Disappointed Yamato got 1 more punch in over Taichi. Taichi was going to end him until Yamato started crying. I would have punched him. No tears saving your ass. |
