| I've always been meaning to post in this thread. I have bookshelves all over my room, not just of manga so that's why these images are zoomed in and not of the whole bookcase. Note: These images are HUGE! Stuff (mostly) in English BL Everything Else (+plus a few light novels) A miscellaneous shelf of light novels, art books, doujin, etc Looking at this reminds me that I am shit at collecting whole series and that there's a lot of stuff I haven't even read yet (mostly in the BL section orz). |

| Well, I am a new member and wanted to show off my collection... Essentially at the moment it consists (almost) entirely of yaoi/BL, excepting a few things here and there. Excuse the poor quality iphone pic - it's not as if you can read the titles super-clearly but if you're a fan of yaoi you can tell what they are I will also dictate the major stuff: I actually reorganized stuff briefly to get it all in one shot >_> So uh, the top shelf largely consists of oversized June titles, most with dust jackets - major complete series here include Little Butterfly (personal favorite), Yellow, Hero Heel, Our Kingdom, and Great Place High School Student Council series. After that there's also the complete series Challengers and (of course) Loveless. On the next shelf we have Love Mode 1-9 and Junjo Romantica 1-9 - reading both of those and I better pick up the last 2 volumes of Love mode and 3 (available) volumes of Junjo before they get harder to find, given that Blu/Tokyopop is now defunct. So that's a priority, though I haven't gotten around to finishing either one yet.. Also on that shelf is the full series of No. 6 - fantastic with just wonderful BL undertones throughout. Then there are the first five volumes of Fruits Basket (gift from my little sister who meant well) and the complete omnibus set of Death Note - the big non-yaoi/bl series here. Under those we've got a complete set of The Tyrant Falls in love (with some extra copies of some volumes) and the complete set of Finder (also with some extras), then the rest of the shelf is mostly devoted to random and one-off volumes from Blu and June - there is the complete set of the manga Shout Out Loud in there, and a few really wonderful gems here and there. Too many to mention. On the final shelf, you can see we've got almost the entire SuBLime print catalog, except some of the Youka Nitta (which I don't much like). Dog Vs Cat, first 5 volumes of Ze (volume 6 is impossible to find!!!), Gravitation (of course), the first half-dozen volumes of Yami no Matsuei, some really great random 801 titles, then a bunch of Deux titles at the end there... Oh, I'd like to add that throughout all these titles I have *every* volume of Manga licensed and published in English that was written by Hinako Takanaga. I am rather in awe of her. Anyway, overall that's about ~350 or so volumes of yaoi manga pictured there. I know there are bigger collections, but I have to admit to being proud. I also bet I am one of the few people of the freaking *male* gender to have a collection like that. Even more shocking, I'm neither ugly nor I do suffer from some horrifying skin disease. Very odd, I know. |

I keep lending things to my friend and then going "well I gotta wait to get X, Y, and Z's still coming in the mail" then I keep delaying, I used to take new pics twice a year, now I think it's been 2 years thereabouts since my last pics, bad FKF, BAD! |
