| Urobuchi showed up and wrote the best thing to exist in the Fate universe and dipped, absolutely gotta respect him for that. Urobuchi’s character writing is on a different level. Every master and servant felt like they had a shot to win and a compelling motivation. Waver and Rider was too loveable. Emiya and Saber’s dynamic/conflicting ideologies was super engaging |
| 10/10 by far my most favourite anime, as of right now Kiritsugu is a very well written character so do Kirei Kotomine 9/10 story, 10/10 animation, 10/10 characters, 10/10 enjoyment |

| 1st season drags a lot. The Rin filler episode especially felt ooc for how it broke up the story. 2nd season however, is pretty close to peak. Very strong themes, suspense and character writing makes up for any superficial flaws I'd have. Overall, it's like a 8.5 for me only because the 1st season drags it down |
