| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- No OP. Going for more asteroid magic to power up. The new kid looks like Kenny (or whatever his Japanese name was) from the original series. I just hope he's not another Masamune or another Yuu. Clothing change this season! Madoka - similar but different Kenta - similar but different Kyouya - more SEXY (I very much approve of this change, he looks so good now) Ginga - add a wing to his headband and add a pink outline (what's up with that anyway; was it ever mentioned why he only had one wing? Will it ever be mentioned why he decided to add another?) Benkei - has 10 of the same jackets and head coverings. After rewatching a bit of the first season, I had forgotten how much of a goof Ginga is when he wants to be (namely in front of the camera). He keeps that here; him and Blader DJ have... a troublesome friendship, haha. It's a bit amusing how much fun Ginga and Kyouya have battling each other. Ginga doesn't care about the "cheating", he finds the challenge exciting. Kyouya calls him out to the middle of a forest just to get away from the stadium (thank goodness!) They're rivals but in the friend-way. (would that make Ryuuga is bad-way rival?) Their beyblades, however... Pegasus sharing its new star power with Leonne without even asking. They practically battle on their own. Almost like best friends or lovers, lol. They really had that vibe. So much so that when Ginga and Kyouya are knocked out, they're still spinning! (How??) This was a weird first episode, lol. (The animation and art were top notch too.) ED tho... it looks like we're going back to the cast from the first season plus one. Almost no one from Baku appeared in the ED. It'll be interesting to see what's in the OP. |
