Well, all of these are amazing anime, people keep forgeting that Haruhi Suzumiya came out way before Monogatari. I’d actually say, all great talented creators always inspire each other in some ways.
It’s not a ripoff in any way, look at trash like Darling in the Franxx copying [NGE] plot, characters;their personality,scenes like iconic Eva scenes or Shinji choking Asuka, Shinji freaking out, Shinji in the hospital, the mc is a literal Shinji ripoff too
