| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Really plot convenient of one team to forfeit the match and another to be caught 'cheating' and not being able to play their match either So Asuto has a dad who is still alive, kind of unexpected, but stating that his dad is evil really makes me wonder who he is |

| Ok, so, Asuto's mom wants him to be a great player like his dad, and it wasn't like she had a fight with her husband or anything, yet she decided that the logical course of action was to tell her poor kid that his dad was fkng dead. What. The. Fuck. (then they hint at Asuto's dad being a bad person now? But he wasn't one when she told the kid he was dead lol) And they want us to feel something over Asuto reading a letter from his dead mother? We saw that woman for like 2 minutes in the 1st episode and then she died on screen, how can we feel sorry over a character and relationship we didn't even got to see??? Was this written by different people than the ones who wrote og IE and GO??? They knew how to make heartwarming stories! This one sucks! |
