----------------------------------------
In the last episode of Pocket Monsters Best Wishes, Satoshi returns to Pallet Town AKA Masara Town, along with companion Pansy. No revisit of Pidgeot, Primeape, Squirtle, Kasumi and Takeshi. And despite Kenji being in the opening, he's absent because Kasumi invited him to her Gym. Why? Because of shipping reasons?

Pansy has to remind Satoshi to visit his mother first because that's what good kids should do. Hanako is understanding enough to let him go to his Pokémon soon enough and already prepares his new set of clothing from scratch.

While Professor Ookido learns about the three Kalos Pokémon Pansy is carrying with her, Satoshi reunites with Bulbasaur and his 30 Tauros. Rather than meeting all of his other Pokémon, he simply calls for his five Isshu Pokémon who are on standby and gathers them with the quartet he has with him. He is aware that he and his travel companions (and Shigeru) have still a long way to reach their goals.

Team Rocket shows up only to get blasted off immediately. In the HQ, I assume in Viridian City, the trio get praised for "defeating" Team Plasma (because defeating other evil teams is the only thing they are only good in), but the only Pokémon they can give to Sasaki are their own. Even though their Isshu Pokémon are the least characterized Pokémon they have owned and have even less personality than their Kanto Pokémon, it's still sad to see them being given away. At least Wobbuffet is back, and the trio get two new additions in Kalos who are much more entertaining than their Isshu ones.

Barely arrived at home, Satoshi has already decided to go with Pansy to Kalos to challenge th league where he will reach his highest achievement when it comes to major Pokémon Leagues. It's good that his mother approves his competitive spirit, even though she's definitively said to see her boy go away again. Well, it's not like the last time she and her son fly to the USA, I mean, Isshu and left her son going on his own in that foreign nation, or next time, when they have a vacation in Hawaii, I mean Alola, where she leaves him there so he can enroll into the local school. At least this time, an adult is accompanying him in France, I mean Kalos, but only after they left the airplane.

And unlike Kenji and Masato, Pansy is at least in the games. It's a bit convenient that her younger sister (Viola) happens to be a Gym Leader, but since he can't challenge Citron without having four Badges first, he has to start somewhere anyway.

Of course, Charizard and his nine Isshu Pokémon are left in the bag, because, remember, going to a new region with too many Pokémon, is a horrible idea, and Johto proved that four times. At least next time, he won't catch too many Pokémon again. The rotation system is an improved over the original, but not good enough. And hey, nice photo. They should do that more often.

Be exciting for Pocket Monsters XY(&Z) where Satoshi catches a ninja, a robin, a wrestler, a slug and a bat, where the coolest starter line returns, where he finds his doom in the claws of an overpowered fire lizard, meets a legendary companion, and the love of his life.

Decent final episode with Ash going back to his hometown.

Sadly B&W in general has been a step down in terms of story and general entertainment compared to D&P, AG and the OG series.
The highlights were the 2nd half of the first B&W season and the season featuring N's story, other than that not too much to talk about.
I pretty much noted all my issues with B&W here already so no need to mention it again.

Now we're off to XY&Z which is supposed to be better, so here's hoping!
