Respect to Rudy for trusting Tenma and even doing a psycho-anaylsis on Lunge pointing out through his hand movement that his subjectivity messes up his judgement. Too bad Lunge is too damn stubborn to accept literal written evidence, I hope he gets fired after all this is over.

Lunge's obsession with Tenma is the same kinda thing as L's obsession with Light but Lunge is wrong and that makes me so fucking mad

There is no worse blind than the one who doesn't want to see. Now I wonder how many hypotheses in previous cases Lunge got wrong because of his arrogance.

The criminal psychologist had to hit Lunge with the hard truth the dude is so hard headed and wants Tenma to be responsible for all those murders so bad that even if Johan straight up confessed to all the crimes the detective still wouldn’t believe him and still blame Tenma because to him he’s always right and him being wrong would affect him deeply

I'm starting to like this show even more. I really wanted to psychologist to call out Lunge on his hand thing, he also deciphered that habit accurately, but Lunge is biased and will not change his mind. Something tells me that Lunge would rather team up with Johan, and might, than be convinced that Tenma is innocent. Telling him Tenma's location after exposing such flaw in Lunge was a huge mistake, that doctor must have been desperate.

One thing that stood out in this episode is how depressed Tenma looked. Although he thinks it's his duty to carry out justice on Johan by killing, he still can't do that. Deep down he thinks he needs to atone for saving a person who would later turn into a serial killer, but that very goal is against his conscious. This is probably what makes a difference between him and Johan.

Episode gave me goosebumps.
I sometimes forget to finish my sentences.

He's so obsessed to the point where it's kinda getting on my nerves. Cool that Tenma saw Johan for the first time since Mr. Junkers was killed

i think the reason why johan is such a scary antagonist is the fact that his actions are only shown through the consequences of others. he's probably had the least amount of screentime but has the greatest effect to the series

Tenma and Reichwein are about to find out about Johan.
Wow Tenma finally saw Johan again. The first time during the day, mind you.

Lunge and Gillen meet...I didn't expect that.

I think Lunge is too eager to arrest Tenma that he rejects everything about Johan.
According to him Tenma and Johan are the same. Will he ever get out of his limited view? I hope so...I really like the charaacter of Lunge.
It would be great if they help each other.

Yes, the rest of the series is available :)

Sadly, looks like Tenma is about to cross the moral line. Hope Dieter and old doctor stop him before that.

Gillen barely knows Lunge for a few minutes and did an analysis of him to destroy him in seconds, and still Lunge ignores those words. For Lunge to admit that he is wrong is to say that all his work for 10 years has been in vain and he would finally lose everything.

Lunge is delusional at this point? Dude doesn’t want to admit that he has made a mistake. Such an as*hole. He will never admit that Tenma is innocent, even with all the evidence that shows his innocence.

Of course it won't end here but I don't think the final segment of the story is from to be 40 episode long. So, wonder how this portion of the story end.

Richard is a better detective compared to Lunge, simply because Richard doesn't obsess over the same single suspect for the past decade as Lunge does. This fucker is so hell-bent on catching Tenma, he might as very well be having a hard-on whenever he gets a step closer to Tenma. Piece of shit Lunge got read like a book by Rudy lmao, he definitely was a bit ticked off there. Enough so to 'admit' that he made a great mistake only so that he gets Tenma's whereabouts. Clever bastard.

Lunge is an incredible character from the perspective of writing but he is just so unlikable the stubbornness is astounding and the way the psychologist describes it is perfect he even takes the photo which I believe is not because its a potential lead but because he wants to erase all thoughts of Johan being real as he cannot fathom being wrong which is incredible in its own, because of his goose chase for Tenma he becomes indirectly responsible for more murders than he accuses Tenma of. He sacrifices the actual purpose of his job which is to protect for his own pride.
