 It was announced that an art book that personifies mushrooms will receive an original 3DCG TV anime in 2017 titled Mori no Yousei: Kinoko no Musume (Forest Fairies: Mushroom Girls). A smartphone game application has also been planned. Osoteki Kinoko Gijinka Zukan features 100 mushroom species that have been personified into anime girls and was published in 2014. The book received a republished edition on October 7.
