| Keith Anyon turned out to be a good guy in the end as the real villian was the Mother system dont u think?and why is urahara kisuke in the list if somebody can enlighten me.Umm the 7th Sichibuki in one piece the Aligator due who controlled the sand(cant remember his name sorry)is a must because i havent seen a villian like him yet with absolutely no remorse for his victims and with only thing in his mind his own goal. |

So far he's been on the good side, but we aren't sure of his true motives (at least as far as I've gotten...), that is to say he is a very shady character and only pops up to help people when he deems it fit. Plus he fights Ichigo at one time XD though we could say that was for his own good. |

Plus he fights Ichigo at one time XD though we could say that was for his own good. so how far have u seen or read Bleach.Because as i see Urahara is a neutral character.up untill now he is only repenting and trying to correct his past mistakes in which Ichigos father Kurosaki Ishin and Ishida Uruyoos father also seem to be invo0led and also vizards too seem to have a connection with him as he is the maker of Hougayoku the only method for merging shinigami and hollow characteristics in a single being aka the Vizards.so basically Urahara is actually the main focus of the story or rather his past is the main focus as it answers all the questions..Between all the fighting and all the other useless stuff the main focus point of the story is What happened in the past which caused the exile of both Kurosaki Ishin and Urahara Kuske and turned Ishidas father in to such Shinigami and quincy hater.Kurosaki Ishin was some what feared by other shinigami as the conversatin b/w byakya and ukitake in ep 41 depicts where fear was visible on ukitakes face.so what caused the exile of such feared shinigami,is the intriguing point.and it all relates to Urahara Keuske. as for Keith Anyon, he merrily stood by his ideals and was confused uptill the end due to mothers teachings but he was the one who changed everything. |

| Don't worry, Eclipse, I'm a good deal farther than that, but I still didn't read much of that earlier post :/ The reason Urahara's on this list is because a) he's a "shady character" by his own admission, b) let's face it, his motives thus far have been mostly self-serving, c) characters are never exiled from anything without good reason, and for numerous other reasons. He's on the list and he's staying there, no arguments. XD (Besides, he should be honored to be on the list. I consider the "villain/antagonist/anti-hero/anti-villain/shady neutral guy/etc" archetype to be the most intriguing in storylines today. For the simple reason that plain ol' "good guys" are boring.) |

| Oni me no Kyou ( Demon Eyed Kyou ) from Samurai Deeper Kyou. Kyou is the protagonist of SDK but he is an anti-hero big time. He is egoistik and a bad ass and he treats every other main character as his servant. |
| Xanxus, Belphegor, and Mukuro Rokudou from Katekyo Hitman Reborn should be added. They're great antagonists. And Takasugi from Gintama. |

| i'm gonna keep bugging you guys for some time :P so first off: Death Note - you're missing Misa, Near & Mello. Personally I wouldn't add Near, and Mello would require some debate, however according to your own "guidelines" or definitions, both should be on the list. :) so I have a question: always in DN, would the definition of villain extend to EVERYONE who was against Light? (and everyone who supported him, since he is the main villain after all...) so would people like his dad and matsuda end up on the list? Next big anime with a whole boatload of villains: Code Geass!!! Honestly, I think it could be argued that at one point or another almost EVERY character in this show could be considered a villain. Lelouch of course, CC, Suzaku (I guess you could use the same argument as L since they're both antagonists...however in this case I think it actually goes beyond that...I see both Suzaku and Lelouch as villains, is that only me?), Karen (or Kallen), Cornelia, Mao, The Emperor, Jeremiah. (i'm sure there are more, i just can't remember them right now, should look them up) Spoiler ahead, do not read unless you've finished the show: that's all for now, will think of more shows ^^ |

Yes, I was debating whether or not to actually put these guys up. 1) Misa...since someone did bring it up, most likely, 2) Definitely Mello. Someone has a problem with it, I'll point them towards our most handy character descriptions, 3) I can't stand Near, so no. -_- Call me biased if you want; it's not happening until further notice. As for Matsuda and the rest, this is mostly intended for popular and/or major villains/etc. Matsuda and the rest of the Kira taskforce are supporting characters, so for the sake of people actually being able to read the character list, I will overlook them for now. |

| ah I'm totally with you on the hating Near thing, so if you don't want to add him I'm definitely NOT gonna complain. I had just included him in my suggestion to "adhere" to your definitions of villains (in this case, Near=antagonist). As for Matsuda & Co, yeah I didn't actually think you were going to put them on the list, i was just curious if they fit in the category or not ^^ |
