I live in Japan, and work as an English teacher to Junior High Students. They call me "otaku sensei." Yep, teaching the gaki about English through anime. It's fun, when they're not emo...when I`m not teaching, I`m the yorozuya for rumbel-subs (co-leader, but more like odd-jobs person, lol).

Oh, I should explain the way I view the 1-10 ranking. Numbers (and their 1 word definitions) don't really mean much to me, so I have to interpret them myself. Here's what I mean:

10 = I'll watch the series over and over again (my definition of "masterpiece"), buy the DVDs, merchandise, etc.
9 = I'll save it on my computer/buy the DVD and most likely watch parts of it again
8 = I may save it, but might not watch it again
7 = It was ok, but I wouldn't watch it again.
6 = I kinda regret watching it because it's mediocre.
1-5 = Obviously wouldn't watch anything this bad in its entirety.

Every episode so far has been funny and worth watching, which is not something that can be said about a lot of anime (hope it keeps up like that). The animation is a little old-school though. I like Irie actually. Yeah, he’s a jerk, but he’s funny and he does really care about Kotoko.... even if he hardly shows it :P How about you? You’re right, the animation in Nabari is really swift and pretty. Very unusual for a shounen. I think all the characters are too skinny though... their heads look kind of big in comparison to the rest of their body XD Soul Eater? That’s a new shounen one right? What do you think of VK so far? I like it, though the animation is kinda off at times and it’s deviating from the manga a bit. Ita na Kiss is cute so far, though I hate everybody’s hair styles XD I love romantic comedy too.
