| Ajin is the best one of the season. I really like Satou very much, he is so badass. And I really love the CG effects. ERASED used to be my number one, but the last two episodes was not very good. It gets boring after Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu is my number two. My Winter 2016 Anime Rankings |

| I voted for Shouwa Genroku Rakugo, it wasn't a show with a overused setting like school or a second life in a fantasy world. I liked Hai to gensou no Grimgar, Konosuba, Boku Dake ga inai machi, but they fit in this categories so it wasn't worthy of representating this season, while Shouwa Genroku Rakugo was more unique and not as forgettable. |

| Wait what, how does Grimgar have 6 votes and KonaSuba 0? Pretty much every other poll I've seen on MAL have been the direct opposite o.0 Well in any case, Erased, KonoSuba and Rakugo have been like the three shows which seemingly everyone has had as their favorites from winter as far as I've seen (one of them that is), but since the former has the advantage of viewer count it'll most likely win this |

| My vote goes to Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu. Not only was it the best anime of the 2016 Winter cour, but it's one of the most truly moving and genuinely mature anime series I've ever seen. It was about as close to truly world-class storytelling as anything anime, manga, live action film, or literature could ever be. Boku Dake ga Inai Machi was a fun ride, very moving, and I'd like to read the manga for sure. Gate was immensely entertaining and I thought it was the most purely fun series of the cour. I don't really get the appeal of Hai to Gensou no Grimgar; the show didn't go anywhere or do much...and the final episode was reprehensibly bad. |
| Confused whether to choose ansatsu kyoushitsu or ERASED at first but ended choosing ERASED because of the chills that I felt . It was just thrilling and awesome :D |

| Wasn't watching a lot of Winter 2016 anime as I was busy. Erased was interesting (in the first few episodes) and probably the only one I finished so I'll vote for that. I read Ajin so I didn't bother watching it. I'll slowly watch the others. Shouwa is definitely something I am looking forward to. |
| Thanks for the notificiation, my vote definitely goes to Shouwa, the Rakugo scenes were sometimes funny and quite powerful. The relationship between Sukeroku and Yakumo was also really good. Thought Miyokichi wasn't a character that stood on equal footing as them but still interesting. Deen also actually animated something well (lol) |

| out of all of those anime. i've only completed GATE:.and i really enjoyed it so i'll go with that. the ajin manga is better than the anime imo. |
| Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu sadly went unnoticed because of slow pacing and absence of general anime tropes and may be the hype surrounding Erased as well but it is definitely worth a watch and for once deen did a good job with animation ^_^ |

It had it moments but for the most part of the show it was mostly an advert for japanese sweets. For me it wasn't anything special(gave it a 6) and from the looks of it, I wasn't the only one who thought the same thing. |
