After you've finished slicing up the image go to File > Save for Web and that's it! Be careful that the boxes match up properly otherwise you will have problems, to do that right click on the slices number and click Edit Slice Options, if you want to make a slice editable right click on a slice and select Promote to User Slice, if you've decided you don't want to go this route simply go to View > Clear Slices.
