If it airs there it'll be there cause it's Aniplex affiliated, but it'll be behind Anthem of The Heart at #1 which is 100% Aniplex instead of just a licensed property out of a third party studio. People don't seem to realize that outside of Oregairu (Kadokawa publishers of Newtypes big play this year) and some voice actors pretty much everything is arrange perfectly down Aniplex affiliated lines. At least Japan knows who the big producers are and can laugh at what this is all really about. MAL either thinks it's a matter of Random Shit Taste (TM) or are just going to smile and nod when they see one of their favorite names listed.

One you realize the otaku oriented anime scene is just one big circle jerk amongst 3 big producers often working in tandem amidst the illusion of competition and constantly bullshitting you in a mad dash for profit maximization you kind of learn to stop taking these things too seriously. The fact that it's so transparent in this case is what makes it outright humorous.
