If they were to push it late 2016 they could potentially even cover what is left of the manga, considering the mangaka has said he wants to end it in twenty volume. |

Thats true but the main reason why they waited this long was to have enough material. Also note the same studio (Wit) with the same staff is adapting two projects next year and I don't think I've seen someone direct a show one season after another unless they had a break for a season. |

| I'm glad they didn't rush season 2. Many of my favorite shows had very long waits between seasons, like Spice & Wolf, Mushishi, and Genshiken for example. Good sequels are worth the wait. Rushing a show can lead to disaster. |

Besides, the Shingeki Festival seems like the perfect time to show PVs and all that stuff, which would be way too late if it started in summer. |
