| Just wanted to get to know the characters listed in the club a little better. Making Narberal a discussion topic will also allow others to get to know her better as well. So far, the bio mentions her behavior towards humans and Ainz as a battle maid of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. From episode 6, we have also learned that she supports Albedo's love towards Ainz, though I've read that it was made known a bit earlier in the novel. Anyhow, I'd like to know everyone's first impressions of Narberal, so questions and comments are welcome. Hide anything you think is a spoiler. As for my first question: What is Narberal? As we all know, the Great Tomb of Nazarick is filled with in-human NPCs. Narberal's appearance is that of a human like most of the NPCs, but the anime doesn't mention what race she. The guardians were all introduced at length in episode 2, but the combat maids were only given a little screen time in episode 1. So, not much is know about them unless you've read most of the novel. |

| I normally don't watch specials, but I was hoping to get a bit more information about the characters in Overlord. Seems episode 3 actually explains how doppelganger is in-human. These are the kind of small details I was hoping to disclose in this thread. So, I guess I'll enlighten those who haven't watched it yet. Doppelgangers are suppose to change their appearance freely; but because Narberal put all her levels in magic, she's stuck in her current form. To compensate for this, she can use 8th tier magic... or so Ainz says. I don't know how accurate Overlord Specials are to the main story, but don't you think the wording is a bit off. I was led to believe all the NPCs' personalities, abilities, and appearance were created by the original guild members. So, I was expecting him to bring up her character settings and who set them. Just tell me to read ahead if this is explained in the LN. I don't think it's info worthy to be in the LN, but just in case it is, I'd like to know. |
